> 3 dayI spent a little more for these than for others I saw on Amazon and Im glad I did. These are high quality, come with lots of extras like straps and a carrying case, and appear to be sturdily built. I would recommend them.

Greater than one weekGreat binos. Simple, compact and a fair price. Feel like decent quality. The clarity is amazing.

> 3 dayThanks. But I wish I would have spent a little more money and got the ones with the stabilizer so its not shaky vision

> 3 dayVery early impressions -- I just received these binoculars. I will use them for birding, of course. They have an excellent sharp image. But I also need them for studying bugs and the stated spec of 5-foot closest focusing made them very desirable. Unfortunately, they dont seen to focus that close, possibly 7 feet. When studying bugs (odonatess, butterflies etc) this makes quite a difference. Im disappointed that they dont do what the manufacturer specifications say.

26-11-2024I own over 30 pair of binoculars-some in the $500 plus range--these are just as good or better! I would recommend these to anyone. They are light and butter smooth to focus with an immaculate image and HUGE field of view!!

Greater than one weekWe went on a photo safari to Tanzania in January of this year and brought my Nikon binoculars. Had the opportunity to try out many others including swarovski. As a gift to our driver, since his binoculars broke on the trip, I gave him mine with the intention of purchasing a pair of swarovski upon return to the states. After much research and NOT due to cost, I decided to order the Vortex Diamondback to see for myself. Could not be happier and just took a trip to Rocky Mountain National Forest with the $1,000 difference.

> 3 dayI have heard about Vortex thru several people and their hunting and sport (USA Archery) experiences. What stood out were quality and the warranty. For quality, my use is occasional and doesn’t warrant a cost is not issue purchase. I compared my old pair of 25s with new Vortex 32 and 42 (At Bass Pro Shop) and the light gain and clarity difference was incredible. As for warranty stories a fellow accidently drove their pickup over and crushed a pair. Vortex replaced them. Can’t ask for more.

> 3 dayFirst, Im a Swarovski fan, I own the superb 15X56HD, and the pretty darn good CL Pocket 10X25. If I spend real money on binoculars I get Swarovski. What led me to purchasing the Diamondback 10X42 was I wanted an inexpensive 10X42 or 10X50 casual astro bino to supplement my telescope viewing. Something that performs pretty well but I wouldnt be too worried about fumbling around with it in the dark on my hard unforgiving driveway.
