Vortex Optics Diamondback HD Binoculars 10x42

Great binoculars with crystal clear picture. I use them for hunting and bird watching on my lake. Have not used them in cold weather yet, so not sure if they fog up

These had enough “focus past infinity” that I was able to easily use them without my glasses for star gazing.

Use for hunting

I bought these for my mother to watch birds at her nearby feeders. Much easier for her to handle and focus wearing her glasses than the cheap binoculars she had around, and the broader field of view is better than narrower higher powered ones for her use. Very pleased, wouldnt mind owning a pair myself.

Very good optics. I was initially on the fence and debated between the crossfire HD and the Viper. I compared the optics at a local sporting goods store and I’m glad I chose the Viper HD. I also thought that 12x50’s were a little too much magnification but I’m glad I chose this as I do hunt in various states and this was not too much magnification. Up close or 1000 yards away, these are amazing. You won’t be disappointed. Also the adapter for the mount-also from vortex- fit no problem. No concerns for cross threading as some others have described.
