> 3 dayIt was a decent camera for the price. I have been through 4 baby monitors in less than 2 years. The first two were different brands, one stopped charging and and the other the monitor just refused to turn on. I was really excited about this one because I have a smaller v-tech monitor for traveling and love it. It just doesnt have the remote camera movement feature that this one does. I was a a bit disappointed in the picture quality compared to the other v-tech I have. Then one day I accidentally dropped the monitor. It wasnt a hard or a far drop, maybe a foot and a half to 2 feet fall, it simply slipped out of my hand. Now the screen is cracked. I am very disapointed in the durability

> 3 dayOrdered this because it was highly rated compared to other options. Some complaints about this are that you need a perfectly flat surface for this thing to stand up properly because the base is too slim. My old camera had a flip-out stand which was much better. The settings are pretty limited, and as others have mentioned, the field of view is really narrow. The multi-camera view is annoying because you cant pan the camera while in split view, so if one kid moves, you have to change the mode back, pan the camera, then switch it back to split view and hope that your kids dont change position and move out of frame (easy to do with the narrow view). Charging is also problematic. If the battery is low and you want to charge it with the screen on, good luck--I have to turn the screen off for it to actually charge. Picture quality isnt that great, and Ive had issues where the temperature reading disappears randomly and I need to reset the camera in order to get it back. Giving it 3 stars because the connectivity seems decent.

Greater than one weekOverall, I am pleased with my purchase. I did a lot of research beforehand and wanted a few months to try this monitor out before reviewing. I bought this monitor as a second monitor. I’m using it with my toddler and using my Eufy with the baby. I have to manage two monitors which can be annoying, but this whole system was a good bit cheaper than a eufy add on camera. This monitor does what we need it to and I think it works just as good as the much more expensive one we have. And the battery life on this Vtech is SO much better! -The monitor stays very zoomed in. It works for seeing my child in his bed, but wouldn’t show the whole room for any independent play time when he gets older. -My biggest complaint is that the stand is terrible. It is just a little wider at the base so the monitor doesn’t stay standing even if you barely bump it or if it’s plugged in and the chord turns. If it wasn’t for this, I would have rated the monitor higher! -The picture is very clear day or night. -The two way talk works well. -It’s simple and easy to use.

> 3 dayI love the features of this baby monitor, even though we dont use much of them. You cant tell if the baby is breathing but overall, its a great baby monitor.

Greater than one weekIt was plug and play within a minute of taking it out of the box (I didn’t look at the instructions.) The icon menus were easy to navigate. After I set up the camera in the baby’s room, I was able to reach all corners of my house plus the mailbox at the street and stay connected. Can’t say much about the battery life yet, but I left the screen unit unplugged for at least 4 hours to test it and it had not dropped a bar yet on the charge. I know it’s made to stay plugged in most of the time especially overnight, so it’s good enough so far. Good value for the price. I was pleasantly surprised

> 3 dayI went from a Samsung baby monitor to this one. The parent unit on my old one would only stay charged for maybe 15 minutes at a time and the back wouldn’t snap on right. This monitors parent unit will stay charged for DAYS! Seriously. I don’t use it a whole lot throughout the day, but it stayed charged and was at about 50% after four days without charging. My other monitor did have a few extra features that this one does not, but for the price.. you really can’t beat it!

> 3 dayI purchased when I gave birth to my second child and is so convenient. The monitor is but small but the image is pretty clear. One other thing is that the charge on the monitor doesn’t last at all.

> 3 dayI had to return the unit because of the cameras randomly stopped syncing the visual to the parent unit- only the sound was working. I ended up going with another VTech unit.
