> 3 dayThis monitor is wonderful. Very much worth the cost. The video is clear even when babies room is pitch black. It has some cool features such as showing the temperature in the babies room, as well as varying volumes so you can hear every single little sound, or only hear it as a baby gets louder. The only complaint is that the directions are very big and hard to understand. It took a lot of trial and error to figure out how to get the monitor and cameras to work

> 3 dayThis product would have been just fine if not for 2 super annoying features. Annoying feature #1: Sound doesn’t mute. On the parent unit it allows you to turn the volume all the way down to mute but then turns back on maybe 5 seconds later. Annoying feature #2: Bright light on child unit. Since the parent unit doesn’t mute, I turn it off when not in use (aka when I get into bed, right next to the crib or when I have to resettle baby back to bed - no point in having the whole house hear me struggle to do this). But when the parent unit is off, the child unit blinks a bright green light. What is the point of this? To let the baby know that I’m no longer watching? Eye roll. Of course I could just turn off the child unit but I’d rather not risk fumbling with it while the baby is sleeping. I’ve tried to cover the light with FIVE layers of electrical tape but the light still finds its way through some part of the unit. Blah. Likely returning. UPDATE: finally decided to return this. I tried to make it work but I just found more and more annoying things over time. I ended up covering the flashing light by wrapping a fabric headband around it. I thought that would ease my annoyance, which it did for a while. But then, one day while doing loud-ish chores I turned the volume on the baby unit all the way up. My baby woke up but I didn’t hear him cry until later because the unit automatically turned the volume down to level 1. So basically this monitor does not mute OR increase in volume. Maybe my unit was faulty, who knows. But this is def not worth $70! I switched to Eufy which was double the price but it’s already a million times better and functional!! TLDR; Don’t waste your time or money. This is so old school - it should not be on the market anymore.

Greater than one weekWish the parent unit battery lasted a little longer, but it helps if it’s in sleep mode/cry alert. Not as clear as I’d hoped but definitely able to see what’s going on. Night mode also seems pretty sensitive (turns on when there’s still light in the room). Love the pan/tilt option. All in all, I like it and would recommend it.

> 3 dayI upgraded our older vtech monitor to this one as were expecting our second and needed an additional camera. I’m so glad I went for this model- I love that I can mute the sound if needed, can turn odd the video but still have audio (this is fantastic at night, not having a white screen lighting up my room), the battery lasts forever, and the picture quality is sharp.

> 3 daySo far, it does everything it claims in the add. The TALK feature is not as clear as I expected but it works. The sensitivity level is great. Once my daughter fusses, the response is instantaneous and we are alerted. As said, its worth the price. I have not had time to monitor the battery life though. Suggestion to manufacturer... the camera should have a back us battery so it can be used during power outages.

> 3 dayLove this camera, it has a good distance range, image quality but the battery runs out pretty quick. Other than that I love it.

> 3 dayOverall, I am pleased with my purchase. I did a lot of research beforehand and wanted a few months to try this monitor out before reviewing. I bought this monitor as a second monitor. I’m using it with my toddler and using my Eufy with the baby. I have to manage two monitors which can be annoying, but this whole system was a good bit cheaper than a eufy add on camera. This monitor does what we need it to and I think it works just as good as the much more expensive one we have. And the battery life on this Vtech is SO much better! -The monitor stays very zoomed in. It works for seeing my child in his bed, but wouldn’t show the whole room for any independent play time when he gets older. -My biggest complaint is that the stand is terrible. It is just a little wider at the base so the monitor doesn’t stay standing even if you barely bump it or if it’s plugged in and the chord turns. If it wasn’t for this, I would have rated the monitor higher! -The picture is very clear day or night. -The two way talk works well. -It’s simple and easy to use.
