Greater than one weekI love everything about this monitor! The only 2 things I will say are 1- I wish the camera could get a better lower angle. You have to angle the camera a certain way (I had to rig it to the wall with tape). I wish it would see lower so I could get a direct angle about my childs crib. 2- it takes a very long time to charge the parent unit. Once it is charged it’s great but it takes a while to get there. Besides these two things I love this camera!!

> 3 dayI was sent a USED item even though I paid for a BRAND NEW monitor. First off, I will say that I love VTech and this clearly isn’t their fault. Their products work amazing and I love them. This camera and monitor work just fine, thankfully. The issue is with Amazon. They sent me a used item that wasn’t even packaged properly. The monitor and camera were loose inside the box. It is also missing the mounting hardware which I really need.

Greater than one weekThis is a great monitor with two cameras for the price. Best I could find. I didn’t want anything fancy, but this still felt like a step up from our previous monitor because the camera pans. It does what we need it to, I like that I can move the camera. The controls, sounds and menu are a little annoying to me but it wasn’t worth returning and starting my search over again. I wish there were volume buttons on the side to easily adjust, but there aren’t. You have to select the menu for volume, adjust, and select again so it stays at that volume. Every time you select anything it makes a tone, as if to say “Ok! I got it!” Completely unnecessary, and slightly annoying especially when the house is quiet. Picture quality is pretty good - the closer the camera is the better quality you’ll have. Ours is set up across the room for our toddler - but I can see what I need to and pan the camera if he gets out of bed. We are currently only using one camera so I can’t say how easily it switches between cameras. Overall, great monitor- just took away one star for the volume buttons and selection tone mentioned!

> 3 dayWe upgraded to this from a single stationary camera when we moved our baby crib into the same room with our toddler. Its great! I love that I can see both girls at the same time, and can pan around the room to observe more of whats going on. One comment I would make is that the parent unit is not a very stable thing. Our old one had a nice kickstand so when it was upright it stood very solid. This one does not have a kickstand, it just has a built-in sort of bulge on the bottom of the back, to hold it upright. So I cant lay it down flat on a table anywhere, and it gets knocked over easily. Other than that, we are very pleased with this product.

> 3 dayThis monitor is great for the price! The battery life is fantastic, and it’s got great features that are very useful. The monitor picture is small, but it’s good enough. One negative is that you can’t turn the beep off on the buttons-so hopefully you don’t need to change any settings in silence. Otherwise it’s a great option for going inexpensive

> 3 dayPros: came with a mounting kit. Split screen and patrol mode Night vision Cons: battery life of parent monitor is a bit short! Theres lag on the camera, my son is pretty much a blur when he moves It doesnt seem that loud compared to my last vtech camera and monitor

11-06-2025I had the vtech 5inch baby monitor (non wifi) but it was only one camera. With 2 kids, i knew I had to invest in a double camera monitor. However, i wanted one that was specifically non wifi, and after searching and doing lots of research and reading reviews, I finally came across this one. I loved my first vtech camera, and this one was seemed to be pretty much the same with upgraded features. It doesnt use wifi, you can tilt the camera up and down and side to side for the perfect view, you can also view in split mode (or switch back and forth between them). The battery has been amazing as well. For $100 its a great deal. I have my babys room pitch black and I can still clearly see my baby. The only downside is that it doesnt have a kickstand like my other vtech camera. So it only stands up on flat surfaces. I definitely recommend this camera. Ive looked at every other brand thats out there and the reviews were always on and off. I didnt want to spent over $200 and end up not liking it. Im glad I tried this one.

Greater than one weekOverall, a very good monitor and I got it for a great price! It was time to ditch the 1 camera in my toddlers room and we opted for this 2 camera system. The signal is actually fantastic compared to my old infant optics. Comes with wall mounts and hardware. We mounted it upside down near the ceiling so we can get a good view of her entire room. Unfortunately my youngest isn’t fond of his crib yet so we haven’t really used the split screen too much, but we have tested it out and looks good! Big screen which is an upgrade from the old monitor. It has a shushing sound you can turn on that helped soothe my son, I find this feature really cool. I do wish it came with two chargers for the parent unit, but the battery is actually impressive at the moment (if you have it on battery saving mode), so I don’t find myself having to move the charger often. I have had two issues: -one day out of nowhere, the temperature of my toddlers room just disappeared from the parent unit. I looked everywhere on all the settings playing around to no avail. Finally decided to unplug and plug back in the camera in her room and the temperature came back. I’m glad I was able to fix it easily but I was so irked that it even happened. -the parent unit suddenly has something loose inside of it. Like, something is moving around on the inside when you lightly shake it. It’s not affecting the functionality as of today (had the monitor for two months almost I think). We have never dropped it. I just hope it doesn’t end up crapping out altogether.
