Greater than one weekJust got these in yesterday and installed them immediately! They work great and are sturdy. Saved me a decent amount of money, since I didn’t have to buy an entirely new gate.

> 3 dayThe Nanny Extenders are very sturdy and easy to use. I ordered the 4. We needed to put up a small gate to keep our new puppy out of the hallway and bedrooms. I could not find a gate the correct size, so I ordered the extensions. As you can see in the photo, I only needed to use 2 of the 4. Without having the extensions available, my only option was to order a gate the correct size that had to be screwed into the walls. These do the job, as my puppy does jump up on the gate, and it has held fast. They do NOT leave any marks or damage to the walls. I would recommend either size even just as protection for your walls.

> 3 dayYou need a lot more than two hands to make this fit; and it is even harder if you have baseboards or mouldings or anything like that that makes the doorway a different width at the bottom than at the top. That said, it is pretty sturdy and stable once you finally get it installed, and it is a great idea for solving the problem of protecting your walls... if you dont tear them up trying to get the darned thing installed.

Greater than one weekI bought a stair gate but was concerned the hardware would damage the wall. I also needed a but more length to mount the gate and these wall extenders protect the wall and made our gate fit perfectly. An added bonus for us was that the greater surface area on these extenders actually produced a more stable fit than the small fittings that came with th gate.

> 3 dayWe had a smooth wood passageway that our gate kept moving no matter how tight we made it. This instantly resolved the issue. We also used this on a wall papered wall and so far it had not damaged the paper and has not moved around.

> 3 dayHad to install these in the vertical position, but they work great and solve the issue of my goldens being able to knock their gate down with ease.

Greater than one weekI used Wall Nanny Extender to fit my gate in my front window. I had recently read about a dog jumping at a window and broke the glass and had many cuts to his legs. I also have big dogs and became worried about my front window. Window is 52 inches and my biggest gate is 50 inches. I looked for bigger gates to find none then came across the Wall Nanny Extender and ordered. I have posted on fb so other dog owners could see how I am protecting my dogs.

> 3 dayMy hallway was just an inch too small to add the other gate piece but 4 inches too big to install the gate without. These extenders were exactly what I needed to be able to put up our gate. They give an extra 2 inches on either side. So 4 inches all together. Works great. I’ve had to move it and they never damaged my walls when moving them.

Greater than one weekThese were exactly what I needed. I installed a baby gate in a hallway to keep our new puppy contained. The gate didnt come with an extender piece and the threaded spindle rods holding the gate tight against the wall were stretched to their limit. I used 4 of these (one on each spindle) and they are working wonders. The gate is now a tight fit and the spindles are not screwed out so far. The extenders grip the wall and baseboard very well, they prevent damage and keeping the gate firmly in place.
