> 24 hourIt seems that all docking stations right now are meant to be used with a usb-c port. So I was pretty happy to find this one that just uses a good old usb port. I’m using three older laptops, two converted hp and dell linux laptops and a MacBook from 2015 running Monterey. With my converted linux laptops Im running Ubuntu 20.4. Everything except the displays worked. I tried to install drivers but I ended up having to reinstall Ubuntu. I don’t think it has to do with this docking station, it looks like there’s some issues with Ubuntu 20.4 with displaylink drivers and hardware that they are trying to fix. Same problem with my MacBook. All of my accessories worked except the displays. The reason for this was also not the dock’s fault but an issue with Monterey if that’s your current OS. Apple is working on a fix right now but anything using displayLink will not work as of now. The accessories I have running through the docking station are my iphone, which was visible on all three laptops, a microphone, a soundbar, keyboard and mouse, as well as an external hard drive. They all worked flawlessly on this docking station. This docking station is also lightweight. I love all the adapters that are included with it. If you aren’t going to use them with this docking station you can use them for something else. Usually you don’t get these types of adapters included so i was stoked! The power cord is way too short which is weird because they give you a super long usb cable… All in all it’s a good docking station. Just be aware the displays might or might not work and can change with system updates. A lot of people who had display link devices before an upgrade said they were working before the upgrade and then stopped working after. It’s just something to be aware of and look into before upgrading your OS.

> 24 hourThis one is easy to use and we set up with the kids gaming and homework setup easily. Solid build. It does not play well with Macbooks, but with PC it did just fine. Be sure to read the specs on this one. It does what its meant for well, but it does not like newer tech. Does not support Displayport, 4K monitors, and does not offer power.

> 24 hourI recently picked up a 13.3 laptop and it is severely lacking in connection options. It has 2 USB-A ports, a USB-C port and 3.5mm jack, besides the power connection thats it. This is working perfectly to keep everything connected AND to keep me from having unplug disconnect a bunch of wires every time I need to pick it up and walk into a conference room or head out to meet with a client. This is precisely what I needed AND the fact that it is powered from a connection through the USB-A port means that it isnt monopolizing the USB-C / Thunderbolt connection. The only issue I had with it was that connecting a Logitech USB Wireless Dongle. Trying to run the wireless mouse through this was SUPER SUPER laggy. It was almost unusable. Outside of that, very pleased with it. Very pleased with it.

> 24 hourMy 10yo Lenovo laptop dock was starting to malfunction, so I grabbed this unit hoping it would work as a replacement and Im definitely pleased at the ease of setup and use. It even came with VGA-DVI-D, HDMI-DVI-D, and USB-AUSB-C adapters to make all my peripheral connections much easier w/o having to go buy extra parts. Driver download was automatic in Windows 10, so I was up & running almost immediately. Excellent docking station!

> 24 hourI am thoroughly impressed with this quad monitor docking station. It has exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality and ease of use. Setting it up with my USB-C Lenovo 480 and MS Surface 7 was a breeze after installing the driver. The docking station seamlessly recognized and supported all four Viewsonic monitors via DisplayPort. Its worth noting that the compatibility with Windows 11 allows for a wide range of configurations, providing a highly customizable experience. The build quality of this docking station is exceptional. The sleek design adds a touch of elegance to my workstation, while the hand controls offer convenient access to various functions. The two bright lights provide excellent illumination for my workspace. The versatility to mount it with or without ducts adds further flexibility to the installation process. Although I chose to have it professionally installed due to ongoing kitchen renovations, the instructions provided indicate that self-installation is straightforward for those who are handy. The comprehensive installation instructions make the process user-friendly. Overall, this docking station is a standout choice. It delivers on its promises and offers a seamless and efficient experience. Whether youre upgrading from an older model or looking for a reliable quad monitor solution, this docking station is a significant upgrade. I highly recommend it for its exceptional quality, ease of use, and impressive functionality.

> 24 hourSome would sayI have too many devices attached to my laptop which has only 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports. This product is my latest attempt to find something that works well for me both in terms of functionality and physical characteristics. This docking station gives me enough USB ports to supplement what I already have in a Thunderbolt dock and that is just what I wanted it for. I didnt measure data transfer rates and other performance factors but I also didnt notice any issues. There is a bonus feature I didnt expect: Display Link support lets me use an additional monitor. The laptop I have supports only two screens - the laptop screen itself and one additional monitor. Having two real monitors is a nice luxury that one can get attached to. Seeing the DL capability, I pulled an older monitor out of the closet and connected it to the HDMI port on the docking station. Once I installed the DL driver I downloaded from Synaptics and configured the set up I had two 24 monitors up and running. (FWIW I have the laptop on a shelf - its open and sometimes I do use it as a third screen.) [A note to Mac users. Apple TV+ on a Mac will not work with DL so when I want to watch TV+ I have to stop the driver. It is easy to start and restart so it isnt a big issue but it did take a little Internet searching to figure out. The problem has nothing to do with the docking station itself.] The photos in the product listing do a good job of showing the docking station from different angles so you can see the connections so I just provided a single image so you can see how Im using it. I think this is a great product.
