Great external drive for PS4. This is the second one Ive purchased as a gift, and they work well and as expected.

My boyfriend loves this. Very easy to set up and its really small so it barely takes up any space. Great buy!

Hopefully we dont run into problems with the data storage down the road, but my initial review is that this works well, and it is very easy to install. As I understand you need to remove this device through the PS4 onscreen menu before shutting down the PS4 so that the data doesnt get corrupted, just like you would with a flash drive on a computer. We are being very careful with this, but a couple of times the PS4 was accidentally unplugged by our robot vac and there was no problem seen upon restart. So far so good, and for the price it was well worth it to expand the PS4 by 4X its original memory.

Just what I needed

This little external drive is so fantastic! It’s extremely easy to use with the PS4 Pro. You literally plug the USB into the game console and it walks you through the whole thing. From there, whenever you save games, they will automatically go on the drive.

stopped working just after the return window closed bought as gift for my sons ps4 for Christmas and the return window closed on 1/31/22 and device stopped working on 2/1/22

I needed more space for my PS4, and this gave me the space that I needed. I got the 4 Tb version and it fits all the games I need on it, as well as still has room left for more items to go on it.
