I already knew the storage that came on the PS5 was highly insufficient. I YouTube a little and came across this gem. It was absolutely a breeze installing it and formatting for use...pretty was done and uploading LOTS more games in less than 30-minutes. If youre looking to expand your PS5 storage capacity this is it or at least works great for me. Im literally downloading another 100GB game as I submit this review. Prefect and a breeze.

This was a great buy for the Playstation 5 I just added a Sabrent heatsink it was easy to install and the Sabrent heat sink was easy to installif any cares it was true 2tb as well I hate when it says 2tb then its only !.7tb Ooooo that makes me mad but this is a true 2tb and boy is it fast super fast transfered all my games over in minutes.

It comes with a heat sink, works great on my X570 motherboard. There is not software to clone an older drive but there are plenty of free ones to use.

This is a super fast nvme drive with some caveats to remember. In order to get its fastest speed you need a specific motherboard chipset ie. B550 for AMD CPUs. From there it will matter which SATA drives you have connected and to which ports. the NVME shares PCIe lanes i think up to 4 so. The more SATAs the slower the PCIE only for the fact each drive takes one PCIe lane usually so all of that cuts into your GPU and NVME overall speed.. Now is this noticeable by the naked eye? In large file transferes definitely, in day to day use? not really....so ENJOY this extremely fast great quality nvme m.2 ssd

This is a great drive for ps5. Seems to be just as fast as the drive that came with the ps5. Installed very easy and have had no problems with it.
