Only buy this hard drive if you want to replace everything on it every few months or so. I just downloaded a game update, and everything downloaded and installed correctly. Once I launched the game, the PS5 crashed, and upon restart, the PS5 informed me that the internal 2TB m.2 hard drive can not be repaired and must be reformated. The drive worked fine up until this point, but what difference does that make? If the drive just randomly breaks under normal usage, its completely unreliable in my opinion. I sure as hell wouldnt trust any critical data to this drive, and will definitely remember to avoid Western Digital in the future. In the meantime, Im out $300 AND a hard drive.

This M.2 is seriously so fast. I do both video editing and gaming, and I have never been able to open the adobe apps this fast. Genuinely it takes under 5 seconds to load from clicking on the Premiere icon to selecting my project. I have been able to install every game that I want without having to worry about which hard drive I want it on because my main C drive is huge and fast.

Makes my laptop feel new again.

This arrived quickly and was a very easy install on the PS5. All games load very fast and without any problems. I am just now testing it out but everything seems great so far.

Great product nice to have space to spare on my computer again

This is the perfect SSD for the PS5. The drive is extremely fast. The 1TB size Means I no longer have to remove games from my library. The price was excellent when I purchased it. As long as you follow the videos the installation is very simple. I highly recommend the drive. The warranty seems excellent through western digital at five years
