for some reason if I had even a regular plug in the outlet, the extender couldnt get a good signal from the router. I figured out the best location and then moved the other cords to different outlets.Everything seems good to go now.

Optik ist gut, viele Kabel kann man dort auch in den verschiedensten Farben bestellen. Die Kabel weisen keinerlei extreme Gerüche auf und sind ziemlich geruchsneutral. Flexibilität ist top, sie sind nicht so störrisch wie bei anderen Anbietern

I was trying to fix a dead zone in my house and thought for the price Id give this unit a shot. I was having issues with getting streaming and gaming connections to work in the bonus room due to the poor signal I was getting originally. After a simple configuration of the extension device and placing it near the bonus room where the signal began to fade I again tested the signal and it was excellent. The big test came with connecting the game system and streaming devices. Which now have no problems and are functioning as desired. So in my case the $25 investment paid off. Well worth it to me.

So far so best. Its extended our WiFi into our master bedroom. Pretty pretty easy to setup. I also like the fairly small form factor. Great product. Does what it advertises and extends the network. Good service from the seller. I would highly recommend this product.

Setup didnt take long, though in todays relative lack of patience, it felt like kind of a long time. Maybe 2 minutes to get some of the lights to come on to the status at which you expect them to - power, wi-fi link, and device link just take a little while to finally come to their senses. Its probably 45 seconds, but it feels like a good 5 minutes while youre staring at the stupid thing, waiting for the next step.Plug it in near the router, wait for power light, hit the WPS buttons on this and my TrendNet router, wait for wi-fi link to show, move it closer to the dead/weak zone, plug in, wait for the wi-fi link to change to green, and youre good!Allegedly, the wi-fi link LED shows you how strong the signal is (red? move it closer to the router. orange? move it a little closer), but when I plugged mine in, it was orange for a while until it finally linked up and then it was green, and it has been working GREAT for me. Our router is about 2/3 of the way toward the back of the house, downstairs. I plugged this in, upstairs, about 1/3 of the way toward the back of the house. I was struggling to get halfway decent speeds from the front room upstairs before, but with this extender, its been smooth sailing.Have not yet noticed if my phone (Pixel XL) has been automatically switching between the original and extender, but I know that Ive manually pushed it to do so before.Regardless, it was an easy setup, I got it cheap on Prime Day ($25) and for that price I couldnt be happier with the results. Well be moving some rooms around in the coming months, which may move them further apart, testing the limits of the range, etc. Hopefully Ill remember to come back here and update.

Was great to open and plug it in. Went right to work out of the box and after that setting a secure password was a piece of cake.

I have been very happy with this range extender. We have been using it for about a week in order to eliminate the dead zone that was in our master bedroom and it has been everything that we hoped for.The only reason that I have rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the size of the device itself. The device doesnt fit very well in a top outlet even though the picture would indicate that it would.
