I hunt out of a saddle and use a ropeman 1 for my lineman’s belt as well as on my tether to my bridge. These things are incredibly reliable, silent, and time/energy saving. If you are using any sort of prusik knot system, give this a single try and you will be sold.

I bought 2 for saddle hunting. They work much better than a prusik for the lineman rope and tether ropes. A little pricey, but worth the money!

I use this for ascending and descending trees in the fall. These make prussic knots obsolete (although much cheaper). Im not super comfortable climbing trees, so I need every advantage I can get. This has been a game changer.

Easy to put on a 10.5mm rope and will grab the heck out of the rope so you dont go anywhere. I have problem descending with it. Until I get the feel for it--- it is either locked on the rope or you pull the cam and you free fall until you release the cam

On my 10mm rope works wonders, easy and simple, as well as inexpensive.

One hand ease of use to tend your lanyard or safety device. If your using a prussic knot this is worth every penny to upgrade. A must have for saddle hunting.
