Dont buy a cheap knockoff. I did and returned asap and then farted around until I just said ok and got this. The feel of it makes you know its the real deal and safe.

Just got this little tool and its mind blowing how efficient its. You can climb a tree with ease using only one hand to loose or tight the tether rope. I still have a prusik knot connected to my harness in case any mechanical issue happen. I will order another one soon to have a backup.

I bought 2 for saddle hunting. They work much better than a prusik for the lineman rope and tether ropes. A little pricey, but worth the money!

Im a hunter and always use my linesman rope because I hang my stand in a new spot everytime out being I hunt public land....the prusik knot works fine but you need 2 hands to operate it....with the ropeman 1 its all one hand operation and very simple. Makes my life way easier and feel very very safe with my weight on it and just for knowledge purposes Im a big guy...62 255lbs....nuff said
