Greater than one weekThis ascender is light weights and east to use. Before ordering though make sure the rope you are going to use falls within the ropeman 1s specs.

Greater than one weekThese(I got two) are ez to use and work flawlessly. However I did make a mistake and bought 8 mm line/rope and it was too small. Got 11mm rope and it’s a perfect fit…….get the right size rope and your gonna love it!

> 3 dayAbsolutely Love It! In fact, this is the second Ascender Ive purchased! I am using them as part of my safety system for climbing in and out of my hunting stands and I have never felt more safe in my 30years of bowhunting! I have switched from using the conventional hunters safety harness to using a rock climbing harness and it has revolutionized my hunting experience! The rig I have put together has both a linemans belt and the standard center loop so as Im hanging climbing steps or my stand and encounter tree limbs I can put a tether around the the tree above the limb, and clip a Wild Country Ropeman Ascender into the center loop. Then unhook the second ascender from the linemans belt, move it above the limb, and never be unattached from the tree! Then once in my stand I never have to mess around with getting a safety harness through the back of jacket again! Plus, by using the Climbing Harness attached in the center, I never have to worry about the tree tether getting in the way when Im ready to shoot! And speaking of using the Linemans belt...if youve every struggled trying to get a prusik knot to just the right length with one hand while holding onto the tree with the other...you are going to love how simple it is to use the Wild Country Ropeman Ascender! simply lift up on the cable loop to disengage the teeth and lean back to get more slack... or grab the tag end of the rope and pull yourself as tight to the tree as you want to be! Thanks Wild Country for a quality product that has changed the way I hunt!
