One hand ease of use to tend your lanyard or safety device. If your using a prussic knot this is worth every penny to upgrade. A must have for saddle hunting.

Just fits the Tethrd tree saddle ropes. I feel a lot safer with these than with traditional Prusik knots, though those do work if done properly.

Love the product so far. Does what it was intended to do. I feel safe while using this in the trees

If you hunt and have a hang on tree stand and climb with a lineman rope. This should be part of your gear. Simple one handed rope manipulation.

Exactly what you would expect. It is very well built and a valuable asset to have for saddle hunting.

I actually dont use this Ascender for rock climbing. I made my own linemans belt for climbing trees and used this instead of a prussik knot. Works great! The best part is being able to adjust the amount of slack in either direction with just one hand! Its smoother, lighter, and less bulky than a prussik knot.

If you saddle hunt. This is one of the best item you can ever get for your saddle set up. A must have.

Very sturdy product. I depend on this when Im climbing sticks to hang stands.
