> 3 dayWorking 15 feet away from my house and about 20 feet from my router. Nice to remotely turn on Christmas lights in the winter, and rope lighting on my patio during the summer.

> 3 dayIf you have outdoor lights, this is a must have. Easy to set up, easy to control, simplifies turning off and on remote lights....especially if it is raining outside

Greater than one weekThis thing is a piece of junk. It won’t reliably connect to my WiFi, even though I know my WiFi works well. I have the WiOn single outdoor plug, and it works great. This item though loses connection once you are about 10 feet away. I tried 3 separate units, thinking maybe I got a couple of duds, but each time it would not work as advertised, or at all. I am hoping I can get my money back for the one I did not open right away, and whose return window closed before I could test it out. If you want a reliable WiFi switch, use their single outdoor plug product.

> 3 dayWorks absolutely amazing. I set up in 10 minutes. Its so simple. I have 4 outdoor lights i ran to the front of my house using a 150 foot extention cord, i plugged the end into the WiOn yard stake and bingo now my lights go onnand off with the push of a button on my phone or with the timer which is equally as easy to set up. A must buy! The app is amazingly simple and works great.

> 3 dayPerfect to control Christmas Lights from anywhere. Probably has other uses too. Easy to set up, program, and use from anywhere. Works just fine in single digit temperatures and buried in snow.

> 3 dayWhen I saw an outdoor WiFi outlet at this price point, I should have known it was too good to be true. Basically, multiple iPhones would not connect to the outlet during the setup process, including after I “reset” over a dozen times. I then ordered a replacement—same thing happened.

> 3 dayYou need a good wifi router or extender to reach through walls and outside. If too far from your source it may not work. Mine does. Good luck..

> 3 dayWe have an outdoor fountain that I wanted to control from my phone, so I started looking for a smart outlet on Amazon. I tried two or three standard models with no success--the main problem is that the outlets kept losing wifi connectivity after a few days and needed to be rebooted, which is a huge pain when the outlet is outside the house and around the corner. In contrast, this Wi-on outlet never loses connectivity and has always worked flawlessly, for about 9 months now. The software is very simple and easy to use, and my wife and I can both control it at any time from her Android phone and my iPhone with no problems. Thats exactly what I was looking for. I like this outlet so much I just ordered a second one to hook our outdoor lights into--although we have a transformer for our lights that has an auto-timer feature built in, the Wi-on outlets timer is so much more reliable and functional that Im just going to disable the automatic timer on our transformer and plug the transformer into the Wi-on instead. Then Ill have one Wi-on running the fountain and another running the lights, all working through a single app on my phone (and my wifes phone), and turning the lights on automatically at sunset and off around the time we go to bed.

> 3 dayEasy to set up and connect to my Wifi network. Survived a couple rain showers with no issue. Easy to use app. Only sad thing this model does not support power usage information.
