Greater than one weekI have it setup in my backyard and it worked fine, then one day, I had to unplug it to to move it somewhere else. As soon as I unplug it, and plug it back in, the wifi no longer works, so I cant even reprogram it anymore. Dont get me wrong, the outlet WORKS as intended when it worked, I guess I expected a better WIFI module in this since its plugged into the power. But this has one of the shortest range wifi I have seen. When it worked, my phone had to literally be right next to it to see the signal, and when it worked, the unit will not see my houses wifi network, and I have Google Wifi, the mesh network setup in my house. Anyway, the wifi no longer works, its nothing more than a surge proctector at this point, and since I have to manually either leave it ON all the time of turn it OFF all the time, it really beats the entire purpose of this thing being (outdoors) now. Not happy about that the wifi breaks within less than a years usage. And just incase someone is wondering, there was a insect zapping light plugged into it, and I had the timer setup to turn on and off 2 times in a day, thats all. Not happy, very not happy about this. And if anyone is also wondering, yes, I have tried multiple phones, multiple Android phones and multiple IPhones, and differerent version of iOS and Android, nothing, the wifi signal never shows up when I search for the wifi signal, as instructed that suppose begins with ECO-. And yes, I have tried restarting my phones and yes, I have tried unplugging the outlet for 30 seconds, hoping it will clear some kind of cache or something, nothing. Also, as soon as I unplug it, the programmed times are erased, thats where it rendered the thing into nothing but a regular surge protector, which I dont even know if it actually protect electrical surges.

> 3 dayEasy set up, tricky to configure when you have multiple units. Worked ok for about 2 months then suddenly died. Completely unresponsive. Past the return window...

> 3 dayI have 3 of these now and 6 of the Wion outlets, works great running my Christmas light display. Bought this one to replace the last mechanical timer. So great to adjust the time if necessary from anywhere you have a wifi connection.

Greater than one weekUpdate: Customer service replaced the initial unit very quickly under their manufacturer warrantee. The replacement is working well. Much happier. Updated to 3 stars. Once its shown to be reliable, I will update further..... Original worked OK for three months and I was quite happy, but then failed. Input power (110V) is fine, but no lights, no Wi-Fi connection, and most importantly, no power light. I reset it, but it just sits there with no lights on. Hard to call this anything but a paperweight at this point. Contacting the manufacturer to get a warrantee return. Will update if something changes. .../Mike

> 3 dayEdit** spoke with support again. They apologized, stating the previous texh was confused about my issue. Then they tried to hook me saying they charge for assistance. Nice. Worked fine the first couple seasons, now wont connect and customer service is poor. Customer support number not picked up. They used a chat session to cue tech support to call. Though my app and device were not connected, they ensured me my network was not secure. They further insisted, until I asked where they are getting this information. Would not answer question, then line went dead. Really liked them at first. Now, not so much.

> 3 dayI have just installed the WiOn outdoor Wi-Fi power stake and LOVE its functionality: my Android Smart Phone controls the outdoor lights reliably, and the app allows setting up an automated on-off schedule easily. The initial adding of the device to my home network however was a BEAR (and I have worked with computers for over 30 years and LOVE to play with technology). What I learned: 1) the included directions suggest using their scannable link to download the WiON app to my adroid phone which did not work (I went to Google Play and downloaded the WiON app manually); 2) you are instructed to choose the WiON stake from available devices on your SmartPhone WiFi settings BUT it is not made clear that what you are looking for is a device which begins with ECO- followed by a string of random numbers; 3) You are then told to select in the WiON app the router you wish to connect the power stake to which suggests a hardware name (each router does in fact have a hardware name) when what is meant is the network name (sometime called the SSID); 4)You are then told to enter information in the app (zip code, device name (the name you wish to associate with the power stake you are installing, for example Stake1), followed by the WiFi router password (which really means the network password of the SSID in step 3); 4) When done you select SAVE SETTINGS in the app but this option did not appear on the SmartPhone screen until I blanked out the keyboard used to enter zip code, etc. Having written instructions I know it is hard, but these instructions make the task seem impossible. It is not, but you have to be careful to say what you mean. Thanks for a great product (I hope); please improve documentation; and I have set a calendar reminder to update this on January 10 to see if I remain cautiously supportive.

> 3 dayRead the instructions. Like 10 times. Just read them until it makes sense lol. This thing was a pain but it works. Just make sure you are not super far from your wifi, think mine is about 30 feet from an access point and never had a problem. Good value for the money but without integration into Google Home (my prefence) or Alexa, you still have to open this manually to turn it on and off via smart phone. Not that much of a hassle but would add more value to this product.

> 3 dayVery easy to set up and works like a charm. Would like for it to work with Apple Home Kit but the app itself is very easy to use.
