I couldnt be happier with this product! My 2 year old son recently as begun to shut or slam doors, trapping himself in a room. Ive been very worried he would smash his fingers but these pinch guards have been a life saver! I just slip them easily on the door above his reach and no matter how hard he tries to slam the door it will not close. Now I know he cant accidentally lock himself in a room or catch his fingers. I would recommend these to anyone with children.

Im sure this is great to keep children from pinching their fingers, but I use this so the cats dont get locked out of the bedroom. Works great.

We wanted something to use on a door in a kids room at our business. These are great bc you can put them up at the top of the door, out of the reach of kiddos. Kids have slammed the door but it won’t shut, which is exactly what we wanted. It’s nice for adults, if they need privacy in that room, they can pull the stop off the door and then put it right back on. Very easy to use.

I am using the 4 pinch guards on all of our bedroom doors (infants, 3 1/2 year olds and mine and my husbands room as well as the kids bathroom). I put them high up, within my reach on the side of the doors so I can have quick access to them if I need to take them off (nap time, bed time). I use them because my 3 1/2 year old loves to slam doors when he has a temper tantrum and has slammed his hand in bathroom door when he tries to close it all the way. The guards allow the doors to close with a big enough gap so his fingers don’t get caught but small enough so the door doesn’t feel wide open. The material is wonderful because it doesn’t make any noise when closed on or when installing or taking off and is very durable. When I take it off the door, I put it on the handle for storage and it fits perfect until i want to put it on again. It fits snug on the door so it won’t fall off but I can take it off with one hand while holding my infant and put it back on.

The Finger Pinch Guards are working very well and have helped us to keep our doors from slamming shut. We have our finger pinch guards on two different doors all the time, the one to our bedroom and one to the stairwell upstairs, as well as one on the bathroom door occasionally. Our main purpose currently is to keep our doors from closing completely as well as being slammed shut when we go from room to room. With a small son who loves being held and a dog who loves to chase the cats, they make it significantly easier to close the door just enough to keep the dog uninterested as well as easier to push the door open while holding our son. My son is just starting to reach out and grab things, so when the time comes that he inevitably grabs a door, the Finger Pinch Guards will undoubtedly keep his fingers from getting pinched, which gives me peace of mind that his fingers will never get caught in the closing door. Overall, they are a very well-made and useful product that will never cease to come in handy!

Liked the design, only issue was the adhesive for the wall was not strong enough to hold my 109-pound dog back so the first time the dog can downstairs she easily pushed the door open, pulling the adhesive along with paint right off the wall. (We own our home so not an issue for us and then my husband used super glue and now it is holding fine!) We use it to keep dogs and toddlers away from the stairs to the second floor-his head was too big to fit through but the cats went through easily to get to their litter box - keeping babies and dogs out! Very pleased!

So easy to use. Immediately sets up. No tools. Good for different angles of the door. Can bring to family’s homes or hotels. MUST HAVE for these delicious toddler monsters that learned to slam doors. Let’s them experiment without you having to worry about them getting hurt. Buy these. Buy ALL of these!

These are firm enough to keep cat from closing the doors and getting caught in a room. Easy to remove when I need to close the door for privacy during a zoom call. They blend in with my white doors.

When I read that the guards were made out of foam I wasnt sure what I was going to be receiving. While testing out the product I was pleasantly surprised at how thick the foam pieces were and after trying repeatedly to slam one of our doors in both the side and top positioning as suggested I was pleasantly surprised at how well it held up to the slamming and pulling of the door onto the guard. I noticed that the guards had indentations on them when I took them off of the door after testing the guards and thought I bet these wont hold up, but a few moments later the indentations had vanished. Currently, my son is only 3 months old so I dont have the opportunity to see how it works with him as of yet, but I have been using it for our dog to help him from becoming stuck in a particular room. Our dog is able to allow himself out of a room that he lingered in after we left the room. Im sure once my son is old enough to play with the door I will be putting these on a few of our doors.
