17-11-2024I use the finger pinch guards on my bedroom door, my 2 year old daughters bedroom door and the door to the porch. She likes to open and close doors a lot and this has definitely helped preventing any kind of injury. To be honest, i actually slam my fingers in the doors a lot...so it’s helped me too!!! Also, I would like to add that they are very durable. When I first got them, my husband and I decided to put them to the test. He slammed our bedroom door (which is solid wood) as hard as he could and it made the tiniest little crack in the guard!

> 3 dayThese pinch guards are just what we needed to prevent our daughter from slamming doors shut and, more importantly, from slamming her fingers in a door. The product itself is simple: a slightly flexible c-shaped piece of white foam which you simply attach to the edge of a door you dont want slammed shut. It pinches the door edge and holds itself in place, so you can attach it anywhere along the top or side of the door (but of course if you attach it low on the door your little one may just pull it off). They are easy to place, remove, and reposition, and they do NOT leave any sort of mark or residue on your door. NOTE: Where you place these on your doors is important. They will prevent a door from closing regardless of where you place them on the door, preventing fingers from being pinched on the handle/knob edge of the door. But if you are worried about fingers getting pinched on the hinge side of the door (which would probably cause a fractured finger), you would need to place these on the top of the door close enough to the hinges to prevent the door from closing very much at all. For the door of our daughters bedroom this is a very real possibility, so we have to position these pinch guards accordingly.

Greater than one weekI couldnt be happier with this product! My 2 year old son recently as begun to shut or slam doors, trapping himself in a room. Ive been very worried he would smash his fingers but these pinch guards have been a life saver! I just slip them easily on the door above his reach and no matter how hard he tries to slam the door it will not close. Now I know he cant accidentally lock himself in a room or catch his fingers. I would recommend these to anyone with children.

> 3 dayThe Little one in my house has four legs and meows! My cat loves to shut doors and then proceeds to cry about being locked in (or out of a room). Normally its not a huge deal because someone is home to let her out, but when everyone is at work, she can only stay in a room so long before she has an accident. I love these door stoppers. They were super easy to install-just slide right on the door. I was able to put them up high up on the door so they are virtually unnoticeable. If, for some reason, I need to remove them to shut the door, they slide right off, no marks, nothing. My cat actually enjoys these because they cause the door to bounce a bit when she shuts the door, so she has found a new toy.

> 3 dayWe have a bathroom door that wont stay open, but this is where we keep the litterbox and the cats water. She has accidentally locked herself in the bathroom before when the door has closed. This little thingamajig works perfectly so she can always get in and out of the bathroom on her own when we arent there. We use another one to keep a bedroom door open when the window is open and its windy out, as the wind would slam the door shut otherwise.

> 3 dayOur toddler likes to close doors. This can be put high enough on the door so she cant reach and pull it off but she also cant close the door all the way either so its pretty awesome! No smashed little fingers of trapped babies!

> 3 dayI bought the Door Buddy adjustable door strap to prevent the dogs from getting into where the cat boxes are located. Those were great, but didnt stop the door from closing. These things are super easy and prevents the door from shutting without damaging the doors. One of the bedroom doors slammed shut, and if a cat was in there I wouldnt know it. That would mean damaged carpet, peeing or pooping in a room where there is no cat box. I stuck one of these on the door and dont have to worry anymore about a cat getting stuck in a room without a cat box. Easy to put on and easy to take off!! Love it!

> 3 dayThis works well for use case it was intended. Good if you have young kids who like to open and close doors and are not careful. Use them on a traditional door either on the door knob side so they cant close the door or in-between the door and the hinge. Also a good use is on closets. You can stretch this to go across two closet sliding doors and if you have a shelf inside the closet the doors will stop when they try to open the door as the shelf will block both closet doors from opening. Worked well on the first set; so we bought a second set.
