I bought the Door Buddy adjustable door strap to prevent the dogs from getting into where the cat boxes are located. Those were great, but didnt stop the door from closing. These things are super easy and prevents the door from shutting without damaging the doors. One of the bedroom doors slammed shut, and if a cat was in there I wouldnt know it. That would mean damaged carpet, peeing or pooping in a room where there is no cat box. I stuck one of these on the door and dont have to worry anymore about a cat getting stuck in a room without a cat box. Easy to put on and easy to take off!! Love it!

I waited until these were actually used for the specific purpose for which I purchased them. After the trauma of having a friends toddler get her fingers caught in the door at my sons luxury box at the ballpark I immediately went online and purchased these. Well they were used last evening when the same family plus some additional toddlers were present. This is s very heavy glass door that is between the inside and outside areas of the suite. We put all 4 on the door spacing them out. They worked perfectly. Id been concerned that they might not stay on because of the thickness of the door but they all stayed on all night over a several hour period. They were very appreciated by the families and I would highly recommend this product.

these are a life saver for little fingers and tantrums! No more slamming doors or smashing fingers in the door. Definitely the cheapest option to prevent tiny smooshed fingers.

They are working really well! Perfect solution for what I needed it for. I have a swinging butler door between my dining room and kitchen. I have a puppy that I need to keep out of the dining room. I was putting one of the dining chairs against the door to keep him from jumping on the door, making it swing open and then getting through into dining room. The problem with that was, each time he tried to jump on the door while the chair was keeping it from opening on the other side, the door would bang up against my chair leaving the door with dents. The other problem, there is no handle on this door, only a push plate, so when I needed to get through the door, it was almost impossible for me to open since the dining chair was keeping it from swinging forward and I had no way to pull it toward me. The finger pinch guards were the perfect solution. It prevents my pup from swinging the door open in the direction of the dining room and it also keeps the door slightly forward making it so much easier for me to grab the door when I need to open it. I love these! No more damage to my door, the puppy stays out of the dining room and I can easily open it when I need to. Thank you!

Super Safe product to safeguard little Childrens fingers to get smashed between doors and mounting door frames. I and my wife are super thankful to designers and manufacturers of this well thought product. You guys have great design and noble profession to help relieve the stress of new parents who are constant conscious and subconscious fear that their little toddler can pinch his/her fingers b/w doors or door and mounting frame bracket. Thank you for designing this.

Our toddler (3) is a dedicated slammer of doors (despite and maybe because of our protests), and we are terrified for her fingers. Weve put these on both standard doors and sliding doors in the house, and they have worked well so far, and Im so impressed with how easy they are to put on and off (and out of her reach). I will update if we have any breakage problems, but they seem pretty sturdy out of the box.

Our 1 year old is fascinated with opening and closing (lets be honest, slamming) doors. We were so afraid she would eventually catch a finger in the door, and these simple door guards take that worry away. They just slide on the door edge and prevent the door from fully closing. When you do need to close a door (bathroom, etc.) you can easily just slide it off and pop it over the door handle. We ordered two more boxes to do the rest of the doors in our home for piece of mind when our little toddler is exploring.
