> 24 hourI couldnt be happier with this product! My 2 year old son recently as begun to shut or slam doors, trapping himself in a room. Ive been very worried he would smash his fingers but these pinch guards have been a life saver! I just slip them easily on the door above his reach and no matter how hard he tries to slam the door it will not close. Now I know he cant accidentally lock himself in a room or catch his fingers. I would recommend these to anyone with children.

> 24 hourThe Finger Pinch Guards are working very well and have helped us to keep our doors from slamming shut. We have our finger pinch guards on two different doors all the time, the one to our bedroom and one to the stairwell upstairs, as well as one on the bathroom door occasionally. Our main purpose currently is to keep our doors from closing completely as well as being slammed shut when we go from room to room. With a small son who loves being held and a dog who loves to chase the cats, they make it significantly easier to close the door just enough to keep the dog uninterested as well as easier to push the door open while holding our son. My son is just starting to reach out and grab things, so when the time comes that he inevitably grabs a door, the Finger Pinch Guards will undoubtedly keep his fingers from getting pinched, which gives me peace of mind that his fingers will never get caught in the closing door. Overall, they are a very well-made and useful product that will never cease to come in handy!

> 24 hourWe babysit our twin toddler grandchildren once a week. They are both starting to walk and are exploring everything. Shopping for lifes second child proofing cycle I spotted these foam rubber bumpers at a local big-box lumber/hardware store. I liked them so much I went back for more a couple of weeks later but they had disappeared from the shelves and with no apparent plan for restocking them. Shame! So I visited Walmart (they carried them but were out of stock) and several drug store chains. Nothing, so off to the web! I found these at Wittle through Amazon Smile, ordered them, and had them within 3 days. These are made of high-density rubber foam and slide over the end of the door with good grip on smooth paint or varnish. I believe they are closed cell as well which means they are probably washable and wont act like sponges in the unlikely event they get dirty. They provide a good one inch gap between the door and the jamb to protect those tiny fingers. You can locate then anywhere on the door edge and I would recommend mounting them above the toddlers reach. Check to make sure that older door doesnt flex enough to undo the protection if the Guard is installed higher! The Guards pull right off if you need to actually close a door and they are small enough not to take up much space on a shelf or countertop. I suppose we could take ours down weekly to allow them to recover shape, but most of them have been left up since we installed them with no problems. Those that are removed do return to their original shape, and I believe if they ever lost their grip it could be restored with some light sanding of the grip area. They are so simple, effective, and easy to use that I highly recommend them.

> 24 hourTo be honest, I thought this product was stupid until I finally tried it. I returned a box I got from my baby shower and I used a piece of pool noodle instead. The pool noodle worked great until my baby got strong enough to close the door hard enough that the noodle would just break and fall off the door. After replacing the noodle piece about 5 times, I realized that I NEEDED this product. So I purchased the Wittle Finger Pinch Guard 4pk. I havent had an issue with it at all and I dont have to open the door for my toddler every 2 seconds after he shuts himself in his room while playing with the door. Whether you want to safeguard your little ones fingers or stop them from slamming doors, you probably need this!

> 24 hourWe use these to keep our cats from being inadvertently trapped in bedrooms or the cellar, and for keeping bedroom doors from slamming shut on windy nights. They slide on over the edge of the door, dont leave a mark on door or frame, and are easy to remove.

> 24 hourHave another type/brand made of hard plastic (easy to clean, better quality).... but this does work as intended, just cant put dirty fingers on it (stains). But if you have clean hands to put on/off - great, it works, good value for the price.

> 24 hourBought these because my sisters baby kept slamming the door and it was getting on my NERVES lol! Really solid design and works perfectly. I even test slammed the door myself. They fit neatly on the doorknob when youre ready to put them away. (-: Edit: LMAO, husband put one of these on the door downstairs to the backyard (a little heavier than the standard bedroom door). The baby slammed it and when it bounced back off the pinch guard it put a doorknob sized hole in the wall. Still like the product but ye be warned, you might want to buy a wall guard (little adhesive circular plate you put on the wall and absorbs impact of doorknob.) Learn from my mistake friends. Edit: And make them in black. They get dirty because my nephew is a bandit and keeps taking them off the door.

> 24 hourSeem like they could possibly be made out of a better material but work for what they are made for.
