> 3 dayI bought these for one of my cats who consistently pushes doors closed and winds up locked inside a bedroom or bathroom. I dont know why the cat hasnt learned, but he hasnt. Its a real problem when we travel and have a petsitter looking for the missing cat. Theyd be great of course for the children that they were likely designed for! But I use them for our cat who never learns a lesson. No more doors slamming shut and getting trapped.

Greater than one weekWe use it as a door stopper so the pets can get in and out of the bedroom overnight without inadvertently shutting the door and waking us for entry/exit. Big improvement over the old shoe that’s been in the door jam overnight for years! I was a little worried about it getting misplaced when removed to latch the door closed, but it fits right over the doorknob when not in use, and doesn’t interfere with the door latching closed or using the doorknob while it’s stored there.

> 3 dayFound through a recommended article via Buzzfeed thought this could work better than a standard door stop to keep out basement door open for the cats. And it works brilliantly, and it is much nicer than having to put the door stop back if you accidentally kick it out of the way.

> 3 dayI used to hang a folded towel over the top of a door to keep it ajar. This is a better solution. I am curious to see how long it lasts.

Greater than one weekMy husband and I bought these while we were away for the day so that our kittens would not lock themselves out of the bathroom and where their litter box is kept. We also used one on the bedroom door so that they could roam freely in that room as well. They worked out perfectly and a great solution. We did have an incident with a guest closing that bathroom door for a few hours until one of us got home and I vowed that would never happen again. Im so glad we found these guards as they were the perfect solution.

Greater than one weekI use this to keep my bathroom cabinet door open for my cat to get to her litter box. I link two together to make it wide enough. Works well for this use.

> 3 dayI purchased these to use for my classroom door. So far, they seem to be holding up just fine, however, I do not have students in my classroom yet due to Covid. Students will be returning in a month so we will see if they continue to work. Up to this point I am happy with the product.
