My lovely little toddler turned 2.5 and decided her greatest joy in life would be to slam doors in the house. Thanks to these lovely foam pinch guards, she lost the desire to continue her new hobby pretty quickly. My ears and sanity are grateful. Just be careful, we have standard doors in our house and both guards now have small rips in them from taking them on and off the door periodically.

I keep my cats litter box in the hallway closet & my overly helpful toddler loves to make sure doors are shut constantly! It made for some issues so I was really happy to find something like this. Love that I can put it up high so it can’t be reached too.

I use this on two doors that slam shut when I have my windows open. It is such a life saver because my cat can get shut into a room if I’m not home, to open shut doors.

I wanted a way to keep the door to the basement open wide enough to allow our dogs access but not allow all the A/C cooled air flow straight downstairs. I put some spring hinges on the door and this gizmo keeps it open just enough for the dogs to nose it open and head on down if they want.

This is easy to install and remove, fits perfectly on the door handle when not in use, and holds up beautifully when my almost 2 year old practices her daily door slamming. It is a sturdy little thing that holds up to repeated use, and is hugely satisfying to see in action. Great buy!

One of my cats loves to stand up and push doors closed, and she kept locking herself in the bathroom or slamming doors late at night when I was sleeping. This is the perfect solution. If you have kids, it would also prevent them from catching their fingers in the door, and you could put it up high or on the top of the door where they cant reach it.

I bought these for one of my cats who consistently pushes doors closed and winds up locked inside a bedroom or bathroom. I dont know why the cat hasnt learned, but he hasnt. Its a real problem when we travel and have a petsitter looking for the missing cat. Theyd be great of course for the children that they were likely designed for! But I use them for our cat who never learns a lesson. No more doors slamming shut and getting trapped.
