Greater than one weekExcellent writer. A cross between Lord of the Rings & Chronicles of Narnia, but in another world setting with shades of the Kingdom. It was hard to put it down. I really enjoyed the suspense, mystery and characters. Starting to read book #2. Thank you!

Greater than one weekI have been disappointed with popular contemporary fantasy literature (such as Song of Fire and Ice) which have taken a wonderful genre and pumped-in sex for the sake of sex, violence for the sake of violence, completely depthless characters, and heroes who are villains by any definition. I stumbled upon the 7th World Trilogy accidently, and wish that I could find more like it. Superbly written, utterly engrossing, and amazingly original.

> 3 dayThis was a quick read, it did not weigh me down. I think we are all intrigued by the unseen and unknown. The author wove in the spiritual battles of darkness and light beautifully into the lives of the characters. She also made clear that each one had a choice to make that would determine their future. Im looking forward to reading the next in the series. I was able to connect with the characters and want to know what happens next in their lives!

> 3 dayWant a little fresh breeze of beauty and courage? I read this trilogy curled up by the Christmas tree, on the bus crisscrossing Jerusalem, even walking home down our very steep and winding road, bursting into a grin at the last line. I keep thinking of them as songs for the weary heart. I needed an oasis and a fresh inrush of courage, and this time it came through Rachels writing, with all its bracing beauty.

> 3 dayWith this book it takes you into a world outside of the norm. The way you read the book it takes you into your own world. The words that are written can be taken and applied to all. Love how all the characters come together in some way in the end. Good read

> 3 dayAs soon as I finish this review, I am getting the next book in the series! This is the first book I have read by Rachel Thomson, and it was an excellent read. The way she flipped back and forth from the writings of the prophet to the present time of the story was very engaging. She changed styles from poetry to dialogue to third person narrative and back again so fluidly that the story was one of the richest reading experiences I have had in a long time.
