> 3 dayWell-written and nicely edited. I dont know if it bothers others, but typos, spelling, and grammatical errors are such an eye sore for me. It seems that most e-books have their errors, but I dont know exactly why. Perhaps the editing isnt very thorough. One of the things that I noticed about this series is its overall excellence. That includes writing, editing, story, characters, and creativity. I would urge all fans of Christian fantasy, or any type of fantasy, to get into this series. Reminiscent of CS Lewis, its inspiring, powerful, and worth your time.

> 3 dayIt took me awhile to get into the book, trying to get used to the writing style but after I did I enjoyed it. It is a fantasy and was scary, sad and exciting. I cant wait to find out what happens in the next books in the trilogy.

> 3 dayWonderful new fantasy fiction, first of a series. Great character development, and fast paced adventure. The author is a Christian and her faith infuses her writing with hope and purpose, appropriately, without being preachy or Pollyannaish. I downloaded this first book without much expectation, but by the end of the first chapter I couldnt put it down. Now i cant wait to read the next of the series. Update: just purchased and downloaded the second book. Here we go!

> 3 dayThis was a quick read, it did not weigh me down. I think we are all intrigued by the unseen and unknown. The author wove in the spiritual battles of darkness and light beautifully into the lives of the characters. She also made clear that each one had a choice to make that would determine their future. Im looking forward to reading the next in the series. I was able to connect with the characters and want to know what happens next in their lives!

> 3 dayThis christian science fiction (aka steampunk or speculative fiction) is very well done! The seventh world waits for the coming King, but the darkness appears to be overcoming the light. Sound familiar? Maggie Sheffield is an insignificant twice-orphaned young woman. Her real parents die, then the ones who raised her, Mary and John, are killed in a fire. Now she lives with kindly old Eva Cook. Old Dan shows up, sick and dying, to warn them of something and to give them a scroll that he took from Evelyn and said it must not ever fall back into the evil womans hands. It must go instead to Jarin Huss, another member of the council, who might be able to read the foreign script. Old Dans illness is not a natural one. In a matter of three days hed gone from healthy to this--bleeding lungs and weakness that would claim him before the day was gone. Someone must take the scroll to Pravik, where Jarin Huss lives. Maggie takes on that challenge and finds on the way to Pravik that something is trying to kill her, and the High Police have issued a warrant for her arrest. Nicolas Fisher, a strange and somehow wild man, helps her find the way when the darkness threatens. Virginia is blind most of the time but sees far more than anyone knows. Lord Robert means well but has a weakness when it comes to Evelyn. Jordan (Husss assistant) and the Plowman try to protect Maggie and the Princess, but their lives could be forfeited in the process. You just have to get this one. Maggies life and several others stand in the balance. I received this book free from the author in return for an honest review.

Greater than one weekExcellent writer. A cross between Lord of the Rings & Chronicles of Narnia, but in another world setting with shades of the Kingdom. It was hard to put it down. I really enjoyed the suspense, mystery and characters. Starting to read book #2. Thank you!
