This was a great investment. It gave my kids the ability to use old game cube controllers with the switch There are a few issues if you are going to use a GC controller with the switch such as no zl button but thats a mild price to pay. Super happy with this.

Good — the packaging was torn up, which I wasn’t happy about. From what I can tell, the device works. There is a little lag, but I am using old GC controllers. Thanks!

it works with PC and having your Gamecube remote being able to play , does not work for some emulators , had to jump through hoops to make it work. it worked for somethings but not others.

Its a good device that allows you to use your Gamecube Controllers for more games other than Smash Bros, but that is a really good use for them. However its really good for other Switch Games, now you are gonna be limited cause there is no Home button or ZL button so, I would do some research to see which games are compatible. But I will say that if you have a bunch of Gamecube controllers and friends, Then this adapter is a good price for any Gamer or Nintendo fan.

I dont want to ding this review too badly, but I was not happy that it didnt work with my Wavebird controllers. I only own Wavebirds, so I could not test this with corded Gamecube controllers. I ended up finding a similar product that supported my controllers and returned this product. I dont understand, technologically, whats missing internally to only work with corded controllers even though the Wavebird receiver fit just fine into this. If all you have are wired controllers, this may work fine for you, but if you think you may want to try a wireless controller with this, beware.

It is great for smash brothers and works like a charm.

This is my third adapter in 3 years, so time will tell if this one is any different from the previous two. Plug and Play right out of the box with no issues so far. Ill follow up in a year.

Worked perfectly with my official GC controller, but doesn’t work with a knockoff that I also own. Would have given 5 stars if it worked with both

Bought this for my son who wanted to hook up an old Nintendo Gamecube to his monitor. Item worked perfectly no issues. Best of all my boy can enjoy the Gamecube games my older son played.
