It works, it was cheap. and it super easy, plug its two USBs in, and the Switch automatically recognizes it. You can use it for any game, as it simply reads it as a controller, no weird round about hack needed.

TL:DR Works for Pc Super easy to use, just two USB connections Works in the Dolphin Emulator, Project 64, BSNES, KFusion, Havent tested it yet, but Im sure it will work with Cemu Controller ports seem sturdy and well designed, connectors seem strong, I expect this product will last quite a while Bought myself some brand new original GameCube controllers (yeah, they werent cheap), a memory card, and another copy of SSBM (outrageously expensive, very hard to find any discs left anywhere) so I could practice my Smash game on original hardware and also so that I could play a number of other games via emulator on their intended controller, instead of using my X-Box 360 controller. Really happy with the product.

This was a great investment. It gave my kids the ability to use old game cube controllers with the switch There are a few issues if you are going to use a GC controller with the switch such as no zl button but thats a mild price to pay. Super happy with this.

The 1st unit sent to me was defective. It did not work with the Switch. It had a few minor scratches and what looked like glue at the seams of the controller ports. Perhaps it had been repaired? Contacted the seller and they wanted me to confirm if I knew it was intended for the Switch. I felt there might be some unnecessary back and forth via email and some difficulty in language comprehension between us, so I just proceeded to request an exchange. And that did the trick. New unit plugged in a worked immediately and seems to be working well.

Product works great with my Dolphin, but you may have to do a lot of finagling with drivers to get it going.

Bought this for my son who wanted to hook up an old Nintendo Gamecube to his monitor. Item worked perfectly no issues. Best of all my boy can enjoy the Gamecube games my older son played.
