Y Team Controller Adapter for Gamecube, Compatible with Nintendo Switch, Super Smash Bros Switch Gamecube Adapter for WII U/PC with 4 Port

Im giving this five stars only because it does work as advertised, just not for what I need it to. I wanted to use it on my Wii U for homebrew but as far as I can tell the only time this thing ever worked for Wii U was with Smash 4. It works basically as a pro controller for my Switch which is all fine and good for when I need an extra controller, but honestly I dont think this thing ever should have been advertised as for the Wii U when it only works with one game. Doesnt even work on the vwii built into the Wii U.

I dont want to ding this review too badly, but I was not happy that it didnt work with my Wavebird controllers. I only own Wavebirds, so I could not test this with corded Gamecube controllers. I ended up finding a similar product that supported my controllers and returned this product. I dont understand, technologically, whats missing internally to only work with corded controllers even though the Wavebird receiver fit just fine into this. If all you have are wired controllers, this may work fine for you, but if you think you may want to try a wireless controller with this, beware.

I cant believe how easy it is to get this to work. You just plug the USBs into the Switch, press start with Smash Ultimate open, and it reads all my Gamecube controllers. Response times are perfect just like the actual Switch controllers. Highly recommend! Will update if anything changes.

I am using this for my 2015 Macbook Pro. When I boot into bootcamp, it works well, however, in MacOS dolphin, it allows me to input my controllers, but the joysticks are not working. When I go into Super Smash Bros, it straight up has no response. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING???? It says to contact their service, but it DOESNT SAY HOW! I am connecting only the black, both black and gray, and its on PC. I even tried in Wii U and used dolphins Wii U mode, and it STILL DOESNT WORK! Edit: After customer support helped me out and sent me a replacement, everything is all good!

I did not do a full test, but the thing did its job, and with little fuss. It did not work correctly on first link, but resetting the system helped, and it has been fine since. I used the WiiU mode for linking to the Switch. It works fine with MarioKart 8 Deluxe + 2 Wavebirds. TBH, Playing on the new pro controller is a much better experience, but this was cheapest way I had to add two extra players.

My gaming system easily recognized the software this product uses.
