I bought these to put on my new Uplift desk. They were a bit smaller than I had envisioned, but they are doing their intended job. Came with a flat wrench but it was a little fiddly getting them on. Once on though, they have stayed put and I can now move this behemoth of a desk around my carpeted floor when I need to.

These are a quality product, sturdy, with locking levers that work flawlessly. I bought these to replace the casters on a bedside table that came with garbage casters that had locking levers that kept snapping closed without even being touched. Annoying. These are a great replacement. Keep in mind that the threads on these are metric.

I bought off Amazon the Panta Height Adjustable Rolling Laptop Stand and like most items that use the hard plastic casters, they do not like to roll on hard floors (and probably office mats). I liked how my rollerblade style wheels worked on my gaming chair that I looked for a replacement for the casters on my laptop stand. When I found these, I checked all the dimensions and then measured the original caster stem and they were both M8s! These are longer though and will bottom out inside the holes, but that is no problem. Only adds maybe a half inch in height off the floor. They roll so easily now on the floor and I no longer have to worry about scuffing or gouging it. The locking mechanism is easy to put on with a foot, but if you have hand or finger health issues, I would find a tool to help in taking the brakes off. I would definitely recommend these to anyone getting any piece of furniture that comes with plastic casters and has a hard floor or plastic office mat. Like my headline asks, why dont these come standard with furniture with casters. For that matter, why not supply office chairs with the roller blade style wheels too?

I used this for a diy project with a plastic tote. They are very sturdy, I made it a blanket tote.

I have installed them on a butcher block table that is the center island in the kitchen. They work perfectly. Some instructions for the drill size for the insert would have been helpful. Also the wrench that was provided to tighten the wheels into the insert was poorly manufactured and too tight. A little grinding with the Dremel tool solved that. Otherwise they look and perform great.
