> 24 hourGot the first nanner nanner about 2 years ago locally. Weve got two cats, one who enjoys it , the other one is crazy about it! You should see what it looks like. Its been chewed on, slobbered on, tossed in the air, rolled on etc....unable to locate another one locally I turned to Amazon & was so excited to see all the different yeoww toys. Got a 3 pak of nanners & a rainbow. Well, he could sniff them thru the box & went ape s*** when I opened it! These are the best catnip toys ever & weve gotten lots of them and had many loved cats in our 39 years together. I do petsitting and gave one to one of my kitty clients who I was told is not that responsive to catnip. Well.........within 2-3 minutes he was drooling and rubbing all over it....his owner was impressed.

> 24 hourFirst off - I NEVER write bad reviews. And I honestly feel awful doing this, as I really dont know if the issue is with my cat or the product itself (hence the still 3 stars) but Im hoping this can help others. Weve purchased Hot Cats products of a similar toy-style for many years now and my two boys go NUTS over them! This year, they seemed to be sold out online so I bought these instead... One of my two boys likes to lick the outer shell of these toys, until its wet to the touch. Both of the times he has been around/played with this toy, hes gotten sick to the point of vomiting over several hours...... Im unsure if its an allergy or what, but this toy is the only possible culprit (as nothing else in his daily routine has changed over the last two weeks and its within an hour of contact). I will say he is diabetic and on insulin for the last two years (I doubt that really plays a factor, but just in case). I will add though that my other cat seems to have no issues, he does not lick it and just sniffs it and seems to be fine. Maybe its something in the fabric? I really dont know. I hope its just my cat and not the product itself- but I had to put the warning out in good conscious...

> 24 hourCat played with it for 1 night and had a blast. He then licked it like crazy. The next day, the entire outside turned green. Literally. GREEN. I dont understand. Bought the 3 pack. Useless after the first night of play because now the catnip feels as if it has a hard outer layer inside it, like you feel it is hardened on the outside. I contacted Yeowww thinking maybe there was an explanation to it. My cat wasnt acting right, either, and Yeowww company completely ignored my complaint. I still dont know why my cat wasnt acting right for a couple days after. My one cat got his Yeowww banana, and my parents two cats got the other two of the set. All three cats played and tossed them around once and that was it. Only got one day of play. Waste of money. I shouldve just bought the cheap one to see if it would suffice. Ill give them one star for charging this much for something that cat only be used once. Why would THREE CATS in two separate homes use these only one night and never touch them again? Why would 1 of the 3 have the yellow fabric turn green the next day? Stopped by my parents and there are both bananas laying on the floor, and my mother said they dont care to play with it anymore, yet play with their other toys. I almost wonder if they spray something on the outside to make the cats go crazy when you bring in the Amazon box. All cats went nuts when they werent even out of the bag. One thing I noticed also, is one of my moms cats seemed to look dizzy and unable to focus for a few seconds, and very off balance. We wondered if he was ok, actually, because this was no catnip high. I strongly suspect something that was sprayed on it was licked off by my own cat, which may have made him feel unwell for a few days. Now he maybe has a bad feeling about it. Im just guessing. Yeowww has some explaining to do. I might just cut the green, stiff, hardened one open and put it on YouTube to see whats actually inside. Use caution.

> 24 hourThis is the second time I bought this item. The first one my cats played with for two years and it still gives them pleasure so I surprised them with new ones this Christmas.

> 24 hourOur cats absolutely LOVE these bananas. They hold up better than most catnip toys, and we put the extra catnip in a jar and reseal these up to recharge them. We have a ton of these and the cats never get tired of them.

> 24 hourcats love them, so after they get nasty I replace them about every 2 years

> 24 hourand our two cats absolutely love their bananas. Ive bought them a number of times over the years (2 at a time), and these never grow old. They do lose their potency over time (many, many months), so a repurchase is necessary.

> 24 hourThis is the best cat toy I have purchased. My cat is absolutely addicted to these. I am happy I can buy them in bulk, as he destroys them in about 3 days. I have given these to friends and family and no other cat seems to treat them quite the way mine does... He will play with them for hours, then finally hug them and begin to chew them open. Once hes gotten an end of the banana open, he starts to lick all the catnip out. This is usually where I throw it away and get another one from the freezer (as other reviewers have noted, this both contains the catnip smell and keeps the catnip fresh). If I wait too long, I come home to a bunch of empty yellow fabric and my darling Nigel rolling around blissfully in a pile of catnip. He has other toys that he plays with and no other destructive behaviors, he just... loves tearing open these bananas. I have purchased other catnip toys from this brand (the rainbows, the lemon, the apple and a pumpkin) which have all eventually met the same death as the bananas, but he doesnt carry them around the house and hug them the way he does the bananas. If it keeps my fat little former stray happy, I will buy him all the bananas he wants.

> 24 hourMy cats adore the bananas. They toss them around and bat them across the floor or grab them and kick and bite them. However, like some of the other reviews I spotted, the fabric is not really quite up to that much focused cat energy and gather holes quickly. The second time my cats played with a banana, one of them managed to pull out a thread along the seam, exposing the contents. I expect to get more in the future, but would appreciate a somewhat sturdier fabric even if I needed to pay another dollar or so for it.
