YETI Rambler Bottle Hot Shot Cap Accessory

Great design, great functionality, marred by a lack of markings that let you quickly and visually confirm if it is open or closed. Misread the open/close state and when the tall bottle inevitably falls over in your bag or on the desk, and you will have have a huge mess to deal with. In the past year, Ive lost two iPad Pros and a stack of student papers to liquids gushing out of this lid when the bottle fell over in my bag. Ive now retired the lids and am looking for other lid solutions. Yeti, please put markings on these lids so that we can easily confirm the open/close state!

Yeti quality never disappoints. Sometimes forget to close it. Doh. Good addition to my bottle as I use it for coffee.

It was a good product over all, I really enjoy the features of the product. However, the product does have some design issues, mainly with the three plastic clips that retain the screw-able part inside the shot cap. It gets damaged every time you fully unscrew it past the soft stop and could shed small plastic pieces into the water. I have messaged Yeti about this problem and they sent a replacement immediately, however it still has the same problems which is unfortunate. Overall I like the product and the usability, but could use a redesign on that part (maybe a soft rubber instead of a hard plastic, so that it would bend easier instead of getting chipped away?). 3.5/5 product, .5 for service.

Keeps coffee hot

With a normal cup and lid if you raise the cup too fast or high you get drowned with hot coffee. The best feature of this lid is it limits the amount of hot liquid that pours into your mouth no matter how high or fast you raise the bottle. This cup gives you the perfect sip every time. Perfect for coffee but not so good for water if you like to gulp it. I purchased it at Academy because it looked so HUGH on Amazon. Its not that big.

I use this all of the time. It makes drinking hot coffee from my 18oz Yeti bottle very easy. Cleaning it is very easy: You simply twist off the middle and throw the 2 pieces into the dishwasher. I bought a 2nd 18oz Yeti bottle after buying this accessory, because I started using it every morning. I like it a lot better than the regular 20oz Yeti tumblers because I can close the top and seal it completely, allowing me to be more active and to throw the bottle into my backpack. I was surprised to see the low ratings here and when I read the reviews, the reviews said this item did not fit their tumblers and that was the basis for their low rating... If youre smart enough to buy this item for the right Yeti Bottles, you wont be disappointed.
