> 24 hourMy refrigerator broke down and while still under warranty, it was going to take 9 days for the manufacturer to send someone out to fix it. Had to buy a cooler to make it through until then. Ice is $5 a bag where I live. Considered getting a cheap cooler just to get by. I read tons of reviews But if the ice wasn’t going to last more than a couple of days, I’d be running to buy 2 bags of ice every other day. I bit the bullet and sprung for a better quality cooler. Glad I did. Ice lasted 4 days. Interior stayed cold enough for another day and could have pushed it longer. Very well made. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourThey say you get what you pay for and this is no exception. Yeti coolers are a little pricey, but they are superior in quality and performance. This cooler will keep your beverages or whatever else you pack in it cool for days. I recommend this for and person who needs a good cool storage solution.

> 24 hourThe thermal insulation capability of this cooler is like nothing I have ever had before. It is built like a tank too. The tag that came attached to it says that it is bear resistant. I can believe it. The only negative is that it is heavy. The weight, especially when loaded, makes it not my first choice for a cooler that needs to be carried any distance or lifted into and moved around in my boat. But, when I need to maintain ice or cool items for a long time, like on long road trips or outdoors where it doesnt need to be moved too much, this cooler is unbeatable.

> 24 hourWell, we had to do it. We had to buy the Yeti. Everyone said they were one of the best coolers out there. Get a Yeti they said. So we did and this one was purchased on Warehouse Deals in good, used condition at a cheaper price so why not. We were so excited to become Yeti owners that we were unpatiently waiting for the brown Santa Claus to arrive and when he did we nearly tackled him to the ground to get the Yeti. We really didnt know what to expect from this as its just very hard to pay such a high price for a cooler when we were convinced that we were just paying for all the hype of the brand name but... We were now Yeti owners! Heres where the good stuff comes in. We went camping for 5 days over Memorial Day weekend. Jeeping to be exact at the hot ass and sandy Haspin Acres in Indiana. We took food, alcohol and drinks to hold us over for 5 days. We also took a 52 quart Ozark Trail cooler from Wal-Mart (the tan one, Yeti knock off looking thing), another cheaper cooler from Wal-Mart, I think its a Limited 55 quart (grey blue and black) and a white coleman basic cooler. We put all coolers in the freezer to pre-cool them before we filled them. Although we camped in a shady area, we had to repeatedly put ice in all coolers except for the Yeti. Over the 5 days we did add ice to it but it was also the only cooler that held the ice and didnt have a bunch of water in the bottom of it. At the end of our trip we emptied all contents out of all coolers except for the ice. The Yeti had more ice in it than all the others even though it was the smallest cooler of them all. Needless to say, if you are looking for a comparible cooler to the Yeti and dont want to pay the price, the $97 dollar grey Limited or Liftetime cooler we purchased from Wal-Mart came in a close second. The Ozark was okay and the Coleman was terrible. Now I dont think you need a Yeti for everything but if you need things to stay cold for a few days, you will spend less money on ice and ruint food in the long run if you just buy the Yeti.

> 24 hourI have been debating whether to invest in a Yeti for a few years. This year I needed a cooler to use at the beach, so I went for it. After 5 hours sitting on the beach the ice still was not melted. Have been to the beach several times with the cooler and same thing. One time when it had been under the umbrella for the day the ice had not melted after 24 hrs. My daughter used it when her family went camping for a long weekend and they were amazed at how it performed. It is a little heavy due to thickness but it is manageable. When you choose the size remember that the walls are thick so inside is smaller than other coolers the same size. So glad I finally bought a Yeti.
