Wife bought me a tan yeti 65 qt cooler for birthday. Was really excited. Got last week, just I. Time for opening weekend of deer season. Filled with 3 bags of ice and beer on Friday night. Saturday around noon took cooler out of land rover and placed on camp house porch. Few hrs later there was water all around it. Me an other guys figured someone dropped some ice or spilled something. Later in night put back in back of SUV. Next morning rear of my land rover was soaking wet. The drain plug leaked all the water out of the cooler and flooded the back. Not happy. Just glad it wasnt bloody deer meat. Took cooler back and they were sold out of 65 qt yetis. Guessing since they are made out of use their quality has gone down. The drain was screwed in tight. After all of us examining it was drilled crooked in cooler so the plug was not sealing. For 400+ bucks this should not have happened. Returned it and ordered a pelican off of amazon for 100 bucks less.

Funny the current inflation is 7% and yet the price of Yeti products has not gone up. Makes you wonder if they are overpriced to begin with.

Love my Yeti. Got it as a gift. First weekend I put 20lbs of ice in it on Friday with a load of warm beer. Put the cooler in the back of my jeep and went up into the mountains. Next day went to a wedding and dumped more beer into it. Cooler was constantly being opened by everyone at the wedding rehearsal. Third day took the yeti on a long adventure day keeping the groom busy. Kept 7 guys happily supplied with frosty beer all day though we did have to restock. After the ceremony that night we finished up most of the brew. Tuesday rolled around and I had left the cooler outside since the wedding. Looked inside and there was still ice floating in the water. I was impressed. 5 days of being opened and closed all day long with tons if warm drinks being dropped in and 20lbs of ice held out. Worth the money if you doing the types of things yeti advertises their coolers doing. Though I suggest you buy bigger then you think you need and try to always have a friend to help carry.

Heavy as hell, but super efficient. Keeps ice 3x longer than every other normal cooler. It makes for a great bench to sit on, or it can double as a step up into a higher vehicle. This better be the last cooler I ever buy, because I cant afford another one. Haha

Tundra 65 Cooler

Meet the original YETI the Tundra. This was our baby. Where it all started. Where we took our frustrations with cheap coolers and over-engineered the hell out of them. We ended up creating a whole new category of coolers with legendary toughness and famed ice retention. And now we make the rugged, all-purpose Tundra in enough sizes to fit any outdoor adventure. There’s a good bit of its DNA in all the other gear we make too, in the form of patented and envied innovations. We’re proud to see the Tundra has grown up to be the father of all coolers.

NeverFail Hinge System: Two hinge pins and interlocking design prevent the hinge from ever breaking.

T-Rex Lid Latches: Patented design uses heavy-duty rubber so you"ll never see another busted latch.

Certified Bear-Resistant FatWall Design: Extra-thick walls hold up to three inches of insulation for unmatched ice retention.

ColdLock Gasket: A freezer-quality gasket circles the length of the lid to block out the heat and lock in the cold.

LipGrip Handles Stay out of the way and make carrying your catch seem less of a chore.

DoubleHaul Handles Made with military-grade polyester rope for extra durability.

Rotomolded Construction: Makes it armored to the core and virtually indestructible.

BearFoot Non-Slip Feet: Prevent sliding to keep your YETI in place.

Vortex Drain System: Leakproof, rugged, and designed for quick and easy draining.

PermaFrost Insulation: Pressure-injected commercial-grade polyurethane foam in the walls and lid makes sure your ice stays ice.

InterLock Lid System: Creates a form-fitting barrier against the heat.

AnchorPoint Tie-Down Slots: Molded tie-down slots for easy mounting to your boat, trailer, or truck bed.
