When filling with ice, use a big block at the bottom. They melt much slower and will keep the rest of your ice and drinks nice and cold. I went with the 65 and anything smaller would have been too small for more than a couple of days worth of food/drinks.

I used this on a recent camping trip to Arizona where it was hovering around 100 every day. Kept original ice for 5 days. Amazing.

This cooler is well worth the money!! Couldnt be happier! The quality and ice retention is second to none. The money you spend on the cooler is quickly made up by the savings on ice purchases!

I bought one of these and took it on a camping trip, temps where in the 80s each day, and this cooler didnt seem to hold ice much longer than my cheap Coleman cooler. I wound up having to ice in the cooler every day. They are nicely made, strong and durable but the insulating properties are greatly exaggerated. In the end I returned mine, as there are far better things for me to spend my money on. I just dont think these are worth the money, just a lot of hype.

The Navy cooler exterior got so hot the top of the cooler bowed out into a concave shape and cooler was not able to seal properly

Took it to Louisiana for Hurricane damage and stayed cold for 2 weeks plus!!

    Greater than one week

This was a disappointing buy. Bought it for my husband for our anniversary for camping. Unfortunately it does not hold ice for long. After only 4 hours, the ice was already melting. I had high hopes as I did a lot of research, but this has not lived up to my expectations.

Tundra 65 Cooler

Meet the original YETI the Tundra. This was our baby. Where it all started. Where we took our frustrations with cheap coolers and over-engineered the hell out of them. We ended up creating a whole new category of coolers with legendary toughness and famed ice retention. And now we make the rugged, all-purpose Tundra in enough sizes to fit any outdoor adventure. There’s a good bit of its DNA in all the other gear we make too, in the form of patented and envied innovations. We’re proud to see the Tundra has grown up to be the father of all coolers.

NeverFail Hinge System: Two hinge pins and interlocking design prevent the hinge from ever breaking.

T-Rex Lid Latches: Patented design uses heavy-duty rubber so you"ll never see another busted latch.

Certified Bear-Resistant FatWall Design: Extra-thick walls hold up to three inches of insulation for unmatched ice retention.

ColdLock Gasket: A freezer-quality gasket circles the length of the lid to block out the heat and lock in the cold.

LipGrip Handles Stay out of the way and make carrying your catch seem less of a chore.

DoubleHaul Handles Made with military-grade polyester rope for extra durability.

Rotomolded Construction: Makes it armored to the core and virtually indestructible.

BearFoot Non-Slip Feet: Prevent sliding to keep your YETI in place.

Vortex Drain System: Leakproof, rugged, and designed for quick and easy draining.

PermaFrost Insulation: Pressure-injected commercial-grade polyurethane foam in the walls and lid makes sure your ice stays ice.

InterLock Lid System: Creates a form-fitting barrier against the heat.

AnchorPoint Tie-Down Slots: Molded tie-down slots for easy mounting to your boat, trailer, or truck bed.
