> 3 dayI have a large sliding front window in my Livingroom where the A/C has the exhaust hose access. The original pieces were fine for a regular sized window but with these pieces I could use the cooler in this room or use my glass sliding door in another room. While its all plastic (they all are) it was easy to put together and with some weather proofing strips for the sides, its all good. (I just wish it was less expensive).

> 3 dayI bought this because of the raving reviews, dont believe them. I have no idea how this piece of garbage got 4 and a half stars. It kinda fits in the Window, thats about it. It flexes as if made of stiff rubber, its own attachment falls out at the slightest glance (terrible since its for you know a portable AC thats on WHEELS), its white. Avoid this piece of garbage cash grab that prolly cost them actual CHANGE to make so they can gouge your money. My recommendation, just take some measurements, buy a piece of junk wood, cut it out, cut out a circle, and put it in the window. Easy. Another piece of crud that will just end up in a landfill somewhere. Because it is flexible, it can bend and popup. Installation was ok, I will give them that but because there is only like half a centimeter, anyone with a window that overlaps the darn thing will have issues (like me).

> 3 dayCoupler is oblong rather than round, and also warped. Coupler could not be attached to the hose nor the window adapter. Kit is unusable and its return/exchange has been initiated.

> 3 dayI got a used window AC unit with a missing piece for the window installation. I read the reviews which seemed like a mixed bag with a few people saying the planks were flimsy. I would disagree. They are fine for their intended purpose. I live in a brick apartment budding that is 100 years old so the window frames had been redone and repainted a million times so nothing really fits perfect but these frames or planks or whatever they are called fit quite snugly.

Greater than one weekThe edges are uneven so there’s no way to avoid having a gap between the window & the insert . The insert that connects the hose to the exhaust outlet doesn’t click into the hole . I was forced to use duct tape to keep the hose in place & there’s still gaps . All in all , with some fiddling, it does the job . But for a few pieces of flimsy plastic the price is kinda steep. If you are remotely handy & have a power saw you can make your own for less $ & it will probably look better & be sturdier.

Greater than one weekI don’t think I have EVER been more frustrated with a product in my life but it was 100 in Seattle and I was dying for my AC to be on so I stuck with it. It’s flimsy, no directions and the rubber bumpers it came with did absolutely nothing for window sealing, I literally used clear duct tape instead. Avoid at all costs.
