> 3 dayI had to put duct tape on the tab that keeps the hose attached to the window kit to prevent it from popping out with the slightest movement. Not sure Im keeping it to be honest with you.

22-11-2024I don’t think I have EVER been more frustrated with a product in my life but it was 100 in Seattle and I was dying for my AC to be on so I stuck with it. It’s flimsy, no directions and the rubber bumpers it came with did absolutely nothing for window sealing, I literally used clear duct tape instead. Avoid at all costs.

> 3 dayI bought this product to use with a GE portable AC unit.... Cons: Not exactly compatible with 5.9Inch attachments.....BUT.... it had the same width of the window vent. I traced the length and used a jigsaw to cut out the rest to fit. I had to attache it with screws but besides that, it now fit. Pros: Sturdy! Really liked the extension format of wing nuts. That was a little clunky but got it to fit right and is solid. Fits very nicely in my vertical window. I added think insulation piping and clear insulation tape all around and this works very, very well. I would give it 3.5/5 stars but I cant seem to get the 1/2 star to work. For a 5 star rating, I would suggest two different vent opening options to make it more universal and supply better insulation foam as what I received was inadequate. All in all though, it was well worth the price and the little effort I had to modify it.

> 3 dayThis works exactly as expected and was very easy to setup. Make sure to measure the diameter of the hose you have on your current AC unit before you order and you’ll be good to go!

> 3 dayI purchased 2 of these kits. Both kits did not come with the weather stripping that is supposed to be included. Also there is nothing that secures each panel in place, so they continuously slide down when in a vertical position. There’s got to be a better product out there that actually comes with some sort of lock in place connection
