I dont know why I didnt do this sooner. Nice METAL quality and finish looks great. Better than OEM. Fit pushed right in on my Honda and was very snug. Didnt bother with the lock ring even. BOTH PORTS CONFIRMED **FAST CHARGING** on a Samsung Galaxy S10+. Awesome!! Update: the voltmeter does read significantly LOW. My OBD2 and handheld multimeter shows about 0.5 volts higher than this display. So dont rely only on the display. Charging works great still.

Have installed in my travel trailer so I can see battery voltage from the kitchen & dining area without needing to walk into the sleeping area at the opposite end. Was easy to install. The combo of USB and USB-C ports is really nice and I use both all the time. However, the display is really bright and disturbs my wifes sleep, even over the length of the 20-foot trailer with a privacy curtain in place -- so I need to cover it up at night. A way to dim the display would be nice, but would surely add to the cost.

Works great have no complaints it’s supposed to be a faster charging plug at 13.5 volts is what it shows. My phone was at 21% and charged to 48% in like 10 minutes. Don’t know if that’s faster or not I don’t check to see how long it takes for my phone to charge I just charge it, it said it was faster so I said why not! And I got it for when people ride with me they don’t have to use the one in the front and have to stretch to reach it it’ll be right there in the back seat area! Oh don’t conect the wire to it if you are planning to pull it back off because mine broke and had to reconnect it to the connector head! Nothing wrong on their part I did it. It’s just that’s how good it holds you’ll pull the wire out of the connector

Easy to install in the center console of my Jeep TJ. Everything needed for install was included, although i’m not sure why there were ring terminals on the ends of the conductors, I cut them off and soldered longer wires. I wired it to a constant hot but used a small toggle switch mounted beside it, that way we can charge phones with out having the key on and turn the outlet off when the Jeep sits for more than a couple of days.

This was purchased for portable and emergency fast charging for cell phones - e.g. work great on my Samsung Galaxy S8, but also any other USB powered gear. The USB socket device is designed for use with battery and other 12V to 24V DC power sources. I replaced the ring lugs with Johnson power pole 30A connectors for easy hookup to amateur radio power supplies in bench and portable environments. The unit has an LED display of input voltage from the power source. This provides good information about how your power source is doing against the charging load. I notice fluctuation in voltage, likely in response to the quick charging regime. The charging voltage thus provides an indication of the state of charge if you know what to look for in your equipment. Most simple power supplies do not have voltmeters built in, so this unit adds that feature. The design is practical and rugged and while I got it for the portable and emergency use cases, this may find its way into every day use on the workbench.
