This outlet is a cool add on for anyone who doesn’t actually need the cigarette lighter adapter. I was able to pull the wires from the existing 12 volt power port and use them right into the back of this adapter. It is also awesome to see what the voltage in my car is running as I drive down the road. The display is bright, but not distractingly so. Overall, a cool product.

I installed this in place of the lower center console cigarette lighter below the heater controls. I checked the voltage indicated and it is accurate. When the usb port is located low on in the cab, I can not see the top of the led voltage display with the rubber cover closed.

Despite some negative reviews, my version of this item has not disappointed me. The meter works fine and it charges my iPhone XR like nothing. This is one of those few items that does what others don’t do for double the price or even a lower price. Love mine!

Put this in a 2006 Toyota Sienna, great item and great price. Required some basic modifications and wiring skills but works great

This product certainly appears well designed, no flaws that I could see. I had no issues with the product during install, except my dash needed to be slightly altered but was not fault of product. Durability? I have only had short time, so unknown on long term durability but based on construction and use should last for a very long time.

Easy to install in the center console of my Jeep TJ. Everything needed for install was included, although i’m not sure why there were ring terminals on the ends of the conductors, I cut them off and soldered longer wires. I wired it to a constant hot but used a small toggle switch mounted beside it, that way we can charge phones with out having the key on and turn the outlet off when the Jeep sits for more than a couple of days.

I ran a USB wire along the frame and gas tank up to my handlebars to charge my phone while I am on long trips with friends. My first solution was a cigarette lighter port with a plug in charger but we all know how flaky the connections get especially with vibrations. So I got this to replace it. I like the fact that it has blade connectors that are tight and vibration resistant. Another plus is the volt meter on the face in case I want to take the seat off and check my battery voltage. My Galaxy S10 seems to like it, it charges rapidly and doesnt throw a warning window up saying its the wrong charger, so I guess its the correct voltage and watts.

I used to this on the cigarette lighter port on my 06 STI. I had to grind the port out a little bit since this is slightly bigger than a normal cigarette lighter but I was able to make it fit in the same location and the door still closes is over it. Installation was a breeze as I was able to push the pins out of the factory harness and slide them directly onto the prongs of this (even as locking features) Im surprised at how accurate the voltmeter seems to be normally around 12.5 with the car in accessory mode what goes down if I turn on the blower fan or other accessories and normally stays around 14.4 when the engine is on. I have a Moto z and my wife has a Samsung and both of them see it as a turbo/fast charger.

Works great charging the devices on my motorcycle. THE VOLT METER works well. It was easy to install, and while I have ridden in heavy rain and it did not short out, Im not sure how waterproof it will be in the long run. I dont store my motorcycle outdoors but when traveling I keep it covered. I would order again if I needed another one. Itd be nice to have one in my vehicle.

Received the adapter quickly, and was happy with the durability and ease of installation. Voltage meter looks great with the red back-lighting in my BMW 428i. I had purchased another adapter that after installation only had one of the two USB ports working so I purchased this one. Both ports are working, the quick-charge circuit charges my phone quickly and efficiently, and the all metal construction makes it extremely durable. Very happy with the product.
