I was randomly perusing through Amazon’s product’s on line and ran across this backpack. After reading up on the backpack features and reviews, I figured why not? This backpack is large enough and have many pockets and storage areas. I like having a backpack to carry random necessities for work, everyday out and about things, or for long travel/trips. This one looks good and it’s very well put together. I’m accustomed to seeing loose threads on products such as this but I’ve yet to find one anywhere!! As far as being water resistant...I ran water from the kitchen sink over the backpack and the water beaded up and didn’t soak in the material but the backpack is brand new and I cannot say for a fact how it would hold up for a sustained period of time in rain or water! Important note! The backpack is water resistant not water proof! I’m even thinking about treating it with scotch guard. In my opinion, this backpack would be perfect if it had an added compartment for ccw and possibly another compartment for a protective ballistic plate. I’m very tempted to purchase another one despite missing these two components!

Looks to be very sturdy. Very roomy.

I would like more Molle rings and a straw clip for a water bladder for when I am walking long distances in other countries or a pocket big enough for a half gallon Yeti thermos. when I am commuting to work the laptop pocket is a bit tight for filing with a plastic accordion file holder. I recommend upgrading the nylon to 1650d. it may be stiffer but will last longer. also, reconsider the organization and size of the pockets for the power bank and consider a dual USB port for charging and portable hard drive data transfer. I have a large enough power bank to recharge a laptop and two cell devices. This backpack is so well constructed, I couldnt BELIEVE how well constructed it is. Its a beautiful backpack. Its the kind of workmanship/craftsmanship that you dont really expect anymore when so many things are cheaply made. I bought this backpack to replace one that I had had for over 10 years. I retired from teaching after 20 years to go back to college to get my masters in communication. I needed a backpack that would stand up to the pressures of college life. I needed a backpack that would carry my new laptop safely PLUS all the other gear that I would need to cart to campus every day. I dont live on campus. I take the bus and I do a lot of walking. The backpack seemed perfect. It had enough compartments and zippered places to store all of my books, folders, and all the other things I had to bring with me. Since I dont live on campus and were subject to weather/temperature changes here in Hawaii, I also needed changes of clothing. This backpack fit IT ALL! Which... made it way too heavy for me to carry. Im 54 and when the backpack was fully loaded, it was too heavy for me to carry. The shoulder straps covered most of my chest, making it difficult to breathe. The bag by itself is heavier than Im used to, but when I put all my stuff in it, the combined weight caused my back/joint problems to flare up. I was SO disappointed. I REALLY wanted to keep this bag, so I tested it out for a month to see if I could get used to the weight. I could not. I contacted the company and explained all that and asked if they had a smaller bag with similar construction. They were WONDERFUL. I got an IMMEDIATE answer (on a weekend) expressing regret that the bag was contributing to back problems and how they really wanted to help make the situation better and to my liking. We ended up exchanging a few emails as they made a suggestion for a replacement bag. Both people that responded to my lengthy emails were gracious and helpful. I was SURPRISED at JUST how helpful they were. And even when I eventually had to return it, they were STILL being incredibly warm and helpful. You dont see that kind of customer service which is why Im rating the backpack so high. I do not think its a good backpack for young children or smaller/smallish women... but for people used to carrying heavier loads it would be PERFECT. I could also see it being a really good travel backpack even if you werent carrying a laptop. If they EVER come up with a smaller, lighter backpack... Id be the first person in line to buy it!

Lots of storage space. Zippers smooth to operate. I have NEVER been able to fill this backpack and I have travelled with this backpack with my baby who was an infant and who is now 3! Fits my things and her travel necessities.

Absolutely LOVE this backpack! I actually bought 2! One for me and my husband. I went out of town for 4 days and I was able to fit everything I needed for my trip! And I am an over packer! And it passed through TSA it’s the perfect size! Couldn’t recommend this bag more!

Im in my second year of law school, and a durable large book bag is a must. After going through two book bags from Walmart in three weeks because the zipper broke, I decided to invest in a better quality book bag. The material feels very sturdy and it zips smoothly. I was nearly able to fit all of the books today inside, which for four classes is very impressive. The zippers did not appear to be stressed with all of the weight either. My only complaint, is that the straps are pretty thick, which for the width of my shoulders, was a little uncomfortable against my arms. However, the strap width probably helped with making the book bag not feel so heavy when it was on my back. So glad I bought this book bag.

I picked up two of these on an early Prime Day Special. I have a daughter going to college and a younger son still in HS. My son goes through big, heavyweight, name brand (read Swiss Gear, Kaka, etc) back packs at least twice a year. He is in Marching Band and in AP classes. He is overloaded with folders and books. So his backpack is stuffed. This new backpack easily swallows all of his gear and clothes. We literally stuffed his old full Swiss Gear backpack inside the main pouch and zipped it closed. Then we added shoes, a computer, water bottles... Anyway this is way big and more than enough... Here are a couple of pictures...not of the bag being overstuffed. But of me using it. It is still Summer. School starts in about a month. I needed to use it the other day to take some gear to work. I have a laptop, a set of over the ear headphones, my IFixit Tools, an SSD drive I was installing in the laptop, and my lunch bag. I was still able to sinch it down tight. There is a hole at the top for what appears to be a hydration line. There is a pouch inside for a hydration/water 2l/3l sized bag. It is big enough for two laptops and has enough padding for both. I took pictures of my HP Elitebook Folio and my wifes Samsung Radius. She has a great big 16 or 17 inch screen. My daughter was able to fit her Lenovo Thinkpad and that is a massive brick. My oldest son who is also in college put his Alienware Gaming Laptop in there. So you will have more than enough padding and space. Overall I like this bag. I would buy this bag again. I would buy 3 more just to have as go bags. The only drawback is they dont have a chest strap. A bag this big needs a chest strap. If I have other issues I may come back and edit. I have only used the bag a few weeks. I have had a personal Swiss Gear bag for 15 years. If this bag lasts my son 2 years I will consider this an amazing find!

Bought this item in May 2018. It appeared to be a great backpack. Lots of storage and seemed to be a well built backpack. Unfortunately it is not. It is already beginning to come apart. As noted in the attached photo, it is already beginning to unravel. Not at all what I would consider as durable. Seller made good on their merchandise and replaced the backpack. Although I may not by this brand of backpack again, I will purchase items from this seller again. Update: Seller made good on the merchandise with a replacement. I will buy from them again and would recommend others to do so as well. Backpack is holding up well so far.

I walk about 90 minutes per day. the back straps have this handy loop that I stick my fixed bladed knife in, and the backpack sits on a factory floor for 8 hours a day. no sign of wear and tear so far and Ive had it for quite a while. the USB charging port works way better than I thought it would, even going through rain which I thought for sure would ruin it didnt-- I had thought it did at first but it turns out my phone wire is just a trash heap. recommended wholeheartedly-- the only thing that would make it better is if you buy it and goober it up with some dumb looking patches to personalize it.
