> 3 dayBought a pad of Yupo in each size to try something different to stimulate painting. Spent a lot of time working with watercolors to create a couple of paintings worth keeping. You wont hesitate to put a brush on your paper, Yupo is forgiving, easy to fix mistakes or experiment, and completely do-over. These pads of Yupo are fine but the artist needs practice. Next time I experience artist block will try acrylics on Yupo. Its different but has stimulated my painting.

10-06-2025I am into card making. I bought this to stamp on and then watercolor or color with Spectrum markers. The water color flows beautifully on this paper and the markers as well. However stamping with waterproof ink pads wasnt so successful. I tried Archivers ink, that I had to heat dry for a while to get it to dry. Gina K watercolor ink, never did dry. I waited 24 hrs and even tried heat drying it, but it rubs right off. I assume this paper is not for stamping on. I am open for any suggestions or tips. As for watercolor it works great! Love the feel of the paper. I am going to try my Aloohol inks on it as several people said they use it for, so it wont go to waste. I was just disappointed that my stamping ink would not dry on it.

> 3 dayI had never heard of Yupo paper until I started experimenting with alcohol inks. This paper really works so well with alcohol inks and I have outdone myself in creating interesting abstracts. The color is so clear and vivid - highly recommend using this paper.

> 3 dayI am finding yupo paper really fun to work with. Its different and provides a refreshing new take on technique. These little pads are good to experiment and practice with. I have purchased larger sheets in different weights and my opinion is that weight doesnt matter. I mean, for me, the paper performs the same, I guess a heavier weight allows less light to pass through but if you are not looking to use the paper in that way, it doesnt seem to matter. At least to me it doesnt.

> 3 dayI have used alcohol inks on other surfaces like tiles and cardstock. Ive also used them with resin but have never used Yupo paper before. I was curious and wanted to try it out and holy cow, I am thoroughly impressed with this product. Im currently waiting on a question to be answered before I decide to buy some more. If you are like me and have any doubts about the quality Ill save you the time of weeding through reviews. I will possibly edit this to add pictures. I would highly recommend this product.
