This paper is really fun for experimenting with watercolor. Other than painting, Im also using a sheet of this paper as a mixing palette. Ive lined my extra mixing tray from my mijello paint palette with this paper. It is super practical for mixing paint, reactivating the paint as needed, and wiping it clean as needed. The paint doesnt bead on the Yupo surface as it does on a plastic surface.

I’m disappointed with the less quality paper I got... I don’t think it has anything to do with amazon, because I also ordered from Blick website, and I got the same bad quality paper which is different from the last batch I purchased.... I was so shocked in the beginning becuz the ink works totally differently. The bad news is I don’t know any other brand besides Yupo, now I need to spend time doing research.... so sad

I am using the paper for alcohol inks and it works beautifully. The price is a little high, but well worth it!
