> 3 daySome of the sheets have weird spots that repel water and you cant see them until youre already painting and its ruining your work. Very annoying.

Greater than one weekI saw this on one of the Blogs I follow and didnt follow the directions, you are not to touch the paper with your bare hands otherwise it wont perform correctly. After watching a YouTube video I tried it again and love the results. I will definitely be using the technique in the future. It came on time.

> 3 dayIt was an interesting experience. Its slightly pricey, I thought, but it is a specialty product. I was hoping it would be more slick, but it is matte with a fine, microscopic graininess on the surface (like the Behr paint swatches at Home Depot, if you know what I mean.) This is a positive in some ways, and probably the only reason that watercolor doesnt bead up on it. But I had sort of wished for slick-slick, like my plastic palette surface. There is a learning curve, and a person can do some absolutely hideous things with this paper while they are getting used to it. Its like nothing youve ever experienced before. Most of my art friends find it most effective for abstract and nonrepresentational art, rather than for portraits or realism or things like that.
