> 24 hourDO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS HEATING PAD. DOES NOT HOLD A CONSTANT TEMPERATURE AT ALL. LOOK AT THE PICTURES BELOW. VERY FRUSTRATED.

> 24 hourZoomed is normally my go-to for reptile products, but the Zilla heat mats are fantastic. Slow but reliable, steady heat. Definitely worth investing in a zoomed thermostat as well, though.

> 24 hourJust set up incubators for my two variety of fruit flies because it is getting to cold in the house for them to go through cycle. Bought this last month and is same watt as other brand. Gave it overnight to make sure it was going to work. Checked it today and it is hardly warm. My other one is nice and warm holding the temp I need. This was not near to working to keep container warm. Both setups exact. I was going to return and it is 4 days over the return period with Amazon. So I am out the money for this one and ordered the other brand. If you go ahead and get this one check it as soon as you get it to make sure it is working properly. Cant say they are all bad but this one was and it cost me time and money. Update: I sent an email to Zilla (not expecting a response) with copy of receipt the day I wrote my review. To be fair to Zilla I just got email saying they have mailed me a new one. So they do stand behind their warranty. Will update if new one works.

> 24 hourHighly disappointed. Bought this to adhere to the bottom of a 20 gallon tank for a ball python. First issue was the heater failed to stick after warming. I did manage to get it to stay by placing a dvd case under the tank to hold it in place. I was able to adapt but shouldnt have to as the under tank application of this product was a selling point for me. Second the heater seems to transfer very little heat in to the actual tank. After fixing the first problem and allowing to set about an hour only a minimum of warmth can be felt by hand. I hope this proves sufficient till I can receive a normal heat lamp as cold weather sets in. Will attempt a return if Amazon allows.

> 24 hourI bought the 10-20 small heat pad and it has worked amazingly on my leopard geckos plastic enclosure. The heat pad also stays at the perfect temperature and has not burnt my leopard gecko. Probably going to get more in the future!!

> 24 hourIt works the best of 3 heat mats tried. We have 2 4 watt Matt’s on a 10 gallon tank now (one is supposed to do it) and it does not seem to raise heat in overall tank by more than a couple degrees (hygrometer and thermometer in upper right corner of tank), but it must warm substrate a good bit because our Madagascar hissing cockroaches are out and active -after many attempts to warm tank- even though temp still show 76 F. I have tried several brands and this heat may seems to work best. Also had to order rubber furniture bumpers to rise tank off surface and crest room for cord. I know they all recommend rubber spacers, but I have yet to find what those look like! Setting up a 20g long tank as sling incubator for tarantulas and going to order a large Zilla for it. Hoping to get a Uromastyx soon and will likely look for Zilla brand mat (largest size) to set up its enclosure!
