Greater than one weekgood price for what youd pay at store. Ive compared it to other brands like the ex terra 13w 10.0 uvb and this one seems brighter. the shape of the fluorescent bulb is one of the reasons i got it.. Im not quite the fan of the coiled like bulb. Perfect UVB siZe for a small to medium size tank that fits in a smaller scoop light.

> 3 dayIm lucky one of my cats tipped over the turtle lamp otherwise I wouldnt have noticed that the light had broken and had become discolored. I had noticed the smell of burning plastic at one point and couldnt figure out where it was coming from. Now I know. Not sure why this happened but it makes me apprehensive to get another one.

12-06-2025I use this brand for my 2 sliders. I usually buy the 2-pack, for UV rays for vitamins and heat. The UV burned out quicker than the heat lamp, so I only needed to buy this one. Great brand for reptiles. Highly recommend.

Greater than one weekI actually use this for the bird. It works great for his feather development. This light also has greatly improved his mood. I was sceptical about weather this would do the trick, but I have no complaints! I plan to order again and again!

> 3 dayOnly lasted 3 days! Burned out and started smoking. We were glad we were home because it might have caught fire. So frustrating.

08-06-2025My Beardie had trouble seeing live insects I was offering her while I had this on as her UVB source. The flourescent is good for maybe smaller pets, but a Beardie needs more output than this can provide at a SAFE distance. My Bearded Dragon needed to get so close to this, that it was giving her snow blindness as some call it. I removed it once I noticed this, bought the larger ZooMed T5 HO UVB tube light and that does a much better job.
