> 3 dayThis bulb is shockingly bad . EXTREMELY bad , especially when compared to the Exoterra of the same size . The output is way too low and the light looks almost dim . Ive tried several brands , this one I would definitely avoid

> 3 dayI received this item broken, screwed it into the lamp and it wont light up. I can hear something rattling inside when I shake it. No return policy, I hope I can be issued a refund.

> 3 dayIf youre in need of a light like this, just be sure to research your pets needs. I have purchased these before, and probably will again. The product is exactly what it says. Reason for my #4 rating for Brightness is simply due to the fact that its not that bright! But, thats not a criticism, its just fact of the bulb! We have a tortoise (red-foot tortoise, named Red) in a large tortoise table in the dining room, and I hang another lamp above Red just for added brightness.

> 3 dayI bought two bulbs, one I used and one I kept on reserve. When the bulb I was using no longer worked (after about six months). I used the reserve bulb which was DOA. Caveat, be sure to test bulbs before you store any away. My turtle seemed quite happy and healthy basking under the light.
