> 3 dayNo problems so far, 5 months in. I feel like a lot of reptile bulbs burn out prematurely, but this one is no disappointment.

> 3 dayProduct did not work on arrival, what a waste of my time. If I had wanted to go to the pet store to get a bulb I would have did so from the beginning.

Greater than one weekWhen I was using this bulb, it doesnt help my tortoise. It started to loose some claws and tortoise not eating for a long time even when I bask it under the sun here and there. In the end I bought a pack of lamps (6) with UVA/UVB/Heat. They are cheaper too. The nice thing about this is, it save electricity but for it effectiveness for your pet reptiles it is not that good. However, you could mixed it with other lamp to make it work but in my opinion all-in-one or all spectrum lamp is way better.

> 3 dayIm new to the reptile world and have spent most of my time with fish and aquatics. I use this for my eastern painted turtle and while this is more for desert animals I find that aquatic turtles spend more time away from UV and need something a bit stronger when they are exposed. This bulb seems to last the longest out of everything that Ive tried and provides the best coverage for the best price. Zoo med has always been a good brand family. Ive now bought two of these and will continue to use this bulb until I read something else that suggests better.

> 3 dayBought this as a new and uneducated bearded dragon owner. These are not enough for a long and healthy life for your reptile. You’ll need to get a tube UVB bulb. Either a T8 or T5 with the appropriate fixture. Metabolic bone disease, is a horrific bone disease that causes deformities to develop in your bearded dragon’s bones if they do not receive the proper UVB lighting. Be sure to do your research.
