I read a review from Food and Wine. This rated #3, and I took a chance, it was a little heavier than I thought, but east to use. It was as described in the FW review. Great scoop release and not the prettiest shape. Love it anyway.

Great, heavy duty scoop. This is my second one since I love my other one so much and figured it would be good to have 2 especially during the hot summer months!

It was a gift for my sister and she just loves it.it is so easy to get ice cream out of the carton.The hardest ice cream comes out in one scoop. Fantastic!!!!

Great product, but my old arthritic hands found it a wee bit heavy. Works well and looks great.

Original model was thinner scoop and easily scooped ice cream fresh out of the freezer. Not so easy with this model.

Always liked my OXO ice cream scoop. Had it for 10 years. It finally broke so I found this Zyliss scoop. So awesome! Weighty and cuts thru hard ice cream with no trouble! Glad I got this one!! It’s a winner!!
