Item as described. Thats all you can really ask for when ordering a chunk of metal! I made heel plates for my motorcycle with it.

Not actually 12” x6”. Off by 1/8” in both dimensions.

I needed 6.35mm for my mechanical part, that 0.3mm difference is important. Most verbiage in the description and one answer in the questions all indicated 1/4 (6.35mm); one text image in a picture indicated 6mm. The width was 5.91; the length 11.91 which were both the listed tolerances. The length and width were not critical to my application (just the thickness which was 6.05mm). It is a beautiful piece of aluminum, extremely flat, and well packaged.

Excellent stock, machines wonderfully Even though its advertised in imperial units, its actually metric so its slightly off from imperial, but I do all my designing and machining in metric, so this is a big win for me If for some reason you need to use every thou, then keep in mind this was 6mm thick, which is about 2-3 sheets of paper thinner than 1/4th of an inch

Its an aluminum plate. minus 1 star because itd shorter then 6 x 12 But I knew that going in....
