1/4 Inch 6x12 Aluminum Sheet 6061-T6 Aluminum Tooling Flat Sheet Plate Bar Mill Stock

I had to make new hinges for a Harbor Freight folding trailer after I chose th use 1 lumber for the deck. The new hinges allow the trailer to fold with a thicker deck and are sturdier than the original hinges.

I cut my finger as I was removing it from its cardboard box . I had to take a file and go over all the edges as cuts and splinters abound. Otherwise a good product. Bruce

It is a nice uniformly thick and cleanly cut piece of aluminum.

The width was not cut to true 6 inch dimension, closest mm. OK as I only needed 5 inches for my project. a little gummy to machine. I am not sure which version of 6160 it is.

The Sheets were Well packaged The down side was the metal edges were rough cut and very sharp. A very slight buffering of the edges would be appreciated

In the description this item is described as BOTH: 12 x 6 x 1/4 and as 300mm x 150mm x 6mm. LOL, these dimensions are not the same! What I received was 300mm x 152mm x 6.3mm, or in other words 11-7/8 x 6 x 1/4. Also, the description indicates it is cut smooth with no burrs. LOL. Not even close. It has very sharp, rough edges, with heavy burrs. It came well packed and is good enough for me. It is very flat. Its a fair value for the price. 3 stars out of 5 from me.

The part met expectations. Edges could have been filed a little so they were not quite so sharp.
