I installed a ladder on the boat that requires a minimum 4x8 backing plate. This fit in there just right with some small trimming.

Its an aluminum plate. minus 1 star because itd shorter then 6 x 12 But I knew that going in....

Drilled a bunch of holes and used these as extension plates for a camper, to be able to squeeze the truck in better. They are strong and the dimensions were accurate. No burrs. A better price would have meant I purchased more. Still a little on the high side, but after searching Lowes/Home depot with no luck, made sense to go this route.

I havent installed it yet but plan to use it as a wider base under a t-top base on an old boat that has a soft spot. Hopefully it will work.

Looks good and accurately cut.

Slight problem was a small break in the thin plastic covering one side of the plate. Not a big deal, but kept it from being a five-star rating.
