I ordered 1/4 Inch 6x12 Aluminum Sheet 6061-T6 Aluminum Tooling Flat Sheet Plate Bar Mill Stock KAYLAN. Everything I hoped for. Good quality. Flat. Well machined. Even came with a protective skin.

I used it to fabricate mounts for my eTrikes battery and controller. Perfect for my needs.

Item as described. Thats all you can really ask for when ordering a chunk of metal! I made heel plates for my motorcycle with it.

Unfortunately I was done cutting my project and I realize after mounting why the plate was crooked. Not only is the plate not a perfect rectangle but it’s not 6x12 as advertised.

In the description this item is described as BOTH: 12 x 6 x 1/4 and as 300mm x 150mm x 6mm. LOL, these dimensions are not the same! What I received was 300mm x 152mm x 6.3mm, or in other words 11-7/8 x 6 x 1/4. Also, the description indicates it is cut smooth with no burrs. LOL. Not even close. It has very sharp, rough edges, with heavy burrs. It came well packed and is good enough for me. It is very flat. Its a fair value for the price. 3 stars out of 5 from me.

They do state in the dimensions that it’s not actually 6x12 but the description of the product says 6x12 so it’s a bit misleading. Other than that it was perfect. Flat as a rock and nice and true with crisp 90s on all the corners.

Its an aluminum plate. minus 1 star because itd shorter then 6 x 12 But I knew that going in....
