Its an aluminum plate. minus 1 star because itd shorter then 6 x 12 But I knew that going in....

I bought this sheet and had it sent to a buddy that has all kinds of metal working equipment. he cut me a bracket out with his laser table to hold my nitrous solenoids and a fuel pressure regulator. worked out well.

I used these plates to mount rod holders on my boat. They are the perfect size.

I installed a ladder on the boat that requires a minimum 4x8 backing plate. This fit in there just right with some small trimming.

Everything it said, it was.

In the description this item is described as BOTH: 12 x 6 x 1/4 and as 300mm x 150mm x 6mm. LOL, these dimensions are not the same! What I received was 300mm x 152mm x 6.3mm, or in other words 11-7/8 x 6 x 1/4. Also, the description indicates it is cut smooth with no burrs. LOL. Not even close. It has very sharp, rough edges, with heavy burrs. It came well packed and is good enough for me. It is very flat. Its a fair value for the price. 3 stars out of 5 from me.

Used this to mount an amplifier to motorcycle saddlebag. Nice quality.
